We have a very special guest on tonights episode, co-host Luz Saldaña's father Jose Saldaña joins us by speaking on cosas del mas allá. Enjoy this story in Spanish and read it in English below:
"I'm going to tell you a story that a friend told me. He was a neighbor to my small ranch community in Mexico. When he was young, around the 1970's, he was coming home from a party. I don't know if you remember but bikes used to have a dynamo so the light would light up. He had one on his bike. All of the sudden about 200 meters away from him, he saw a light. This light was following him, mirroring him. He got frightened so he thought he would disconnect his bike light and in doing this the light would disappear. So he disconnected it and everything was dark except for the light that was following him. He built up courage and went home, frightened of course. The next day he shared his experience with his coworkers and an older person told him not to be afraid because those were the ladies that enjoyed practicing witchcraft. He has taken that experience and still talks about it but still scares him. He said he wasn't sure if what they had told him was correct but there was no other explanation since there were no cars or streetlights because it was in a mountain range. That light never went out until he reached his home. That is what he told me. I still have my doubts about the story but it gives me the heebee geebees." Jose Saldaña
