Delightfully fresh melodies, tasteful poetry and thought provoking lyrics fuse with acoustic driven instrumental composition and jazz/blues rhythms, to create a spicy variety of music the Rachel Walker Trio titles, Zest.
The Trio is comprised of seasoned musicians who have found writing and performing music to be a driving passion and essential to a joyfully satisfying life.

A native Clevelander who now calls Brooklyn home, Alec honed his skills first at the New England Conservatory. Subsequent tenures as a gun-for-hire in the downtown Jazz world as well as with untold numbers of rock bands and singer-songwriters (he has shared the stage with Elton John, James Taylor, Green Day, Rob Thomas, Rufus Wainwright, and Ben Folds) provided a different, grittier education.   As a guitarist, Alec was an original band member in the Broadway show Green Day’s American Idiot. From the world premiere at the Berkeley Repertory Theatre in 2009 to the Tony Award-winning run at New York’s St. James Theater in 2010-11, Alec was there – including performances on the Late Show with David Letterman, Late Night with Jimmy Fallon, Good Morning America, and the 2010 Tony Awards Live from Radio City Music Hall. His guitar playing was featured on the Grammy Award-winning Original Cast Recording (his second brush with the Grammy’s, after 2010’s A Colbert Christmas.)   Alec’s songwriting evokes Elvis Costello, XTC, and the Beatles. Spanning the stylistic spectrum from the pop-punk energy of Get Dirty to the lazy, comfortable swing of Still, with stops along the way at the apocalyptic (Washed Away), reflective (Henry at Home), soulful (I Want it Done) and groovy (Bury Your Head), each song is a story-telling opportunity fulfilled.   Bringing together such luminaries as drummer Brian Wolfe (Sufjan Stevens, My Brightest Diamond), cellist Dave Eggar (Sheryl Crow, Coldplay, Pearl Jam), drummer Shannon Ford (Danny Gatton), and bassist Skip Ward (Steve Martin), Innocent Explanations engages the listener from the very first

Jordan Carp, Singer/Songwriter/Guitarist, just released his 5th CD, "Slam Pig."  This album, which chronicles Jordan's move from Boston to San Fransisco, as an anti-pop culture CD.  In it he addresses what is good and what is contempible about current culture.  His music can be dark, honest and raw, yet tender and heartbreaking, with a sense of humor.

Jordan Carp graduated cum laude from the Berklee College of Music.  He soulds like and has been influenced by Pink Floyd, Dave Matthews, Peter Gabriel and Cat Stevens.

The Rising Star Artists business model is about to change in a way that no other musician network is willing to risk on behalf of the independent music world.

Rising Star Artists will be offering a huge amount of free services as well as internet radio air play.  Our ultimate goal is to get enough listeners to pick up air time on nationally syndicated terrestrial and/or satellite radio networks.

Each Rising Star Artist member will be receiving a free assessment (30 minute personalized review over the phone or via SKYPE) of your online presence.  This could be your website, ReverbNation Page, or whatever outlet you use to let potential music lovers find you.

You'll also be able to join free online seminars to find out how to make money in the new music marketplace.  We all know record sales are not going to make you wealthy.  So, we'll be tailoring some ideas in our Rising Star Mastermind group to help you build music related products that will earn you cash and success..  Keep in mind that "celebrity" and "success" are two very different concepts and you'll be making important decisions about your goals and career objectives.

AMPD FitCamp was first developed when contestants from Season 9 of NBC’s hit TV show, “The Biggest Loser”, Koli Palu and Sunshine Hampton, came to Vegas to train and prepare for the Biggest Loser live Finale.  With the success they had losing weight on the show, the next phase was critical in order to continue on their weight loss journey. Increasing the intensity and adding a variety of new exercises was the goal in mind to introduce their bodies to new stresses. Once the program was implemented, it helped Koli capture the Season 9 At-Home Prize of $100,000 losing 215lbs and Sunshine 114lbs!

Find your "inner athlete" and call into the show to ask questions or get help and advice from Robert McMullin and Sunshine Hampton.
