Mohandas Karamchand Gandhi  2 October 1869 – 30 January 1948) was an Indian lawyer,anti-colonial nationalist and political ethicist who employed nonviolent resistance to lead the successful campaign for India's independence from British rule, and to later inspire movements for civil rights and freedom across the world. The honorific Mahātmā (Sanskrit: "great-souled", "venerable"), first applied to him in 1914 in South Africa, is now used throughout the world.

Sir Chintaman Dwarakanath Deshmukh,  (14 January 1896 – 2 October 1982) was an Indian civil servant and the first Indian[5] to be appointed the Governor of the Reserve Bank of India in 1943 by the British Raj authorities. He subsequently served as the Finance Minister in the Union Cabinet (1950–1956). It was during this time that he also became a founding member of the Governing Body of NCAER, the National Council of Applied Economic Research in New Delhi, India's first independent economic policy institute established in 1956 at the behest of Prime Minister Jawaharlal Nehru. After resignation from Union Cabinet he worked as Chairman of UGC (1956–1961). He served as Vice-Chancellor of University of Delhi (1962–67). He was also President of Indian Statistical Institute from 1945 to 1964, Honorary Chairman of National Book Trust (1957–60). He founded India International Center in 1959 and served as Lifetime President of it.

रंगीबेरंगी स्वरूपात सजविलेल्या बांबूच्या काठ्या दांडिया म्हणून ओळखल्या जातात. या काठ्या हातात घेऊन केलेल्या नृत्याला दांडिया नृत्य किंवा दांडिया रास असे संबोधिले जाते.स्त्री आणि पुरुष गोलाकार फेर स्वरूपात हे नृत्य करतात.रंगीबरंगी पोशाख आणि दागिने घालून महिला या नृत्यात सहभागी होतात तर पुरुष पारंपरिक पगडी, धोतर असा पोशाख परिधान करतात. या पोशाखांवर काचांचे तुकडे, लोलक किंवा मोती इ.चा वापर करून नक्षीकाम केले जाते आणि या पोशाखांचे सुशोभीकरण केले जाते.राधा आणि कृष्ण यांच्या पौराणिक आख्यायिका प्रसिद्ध आहेत. कृष्णाने राधा आणि अन्य गोपी यांच्यासह रासक्रीडा केली. या रासक्रीडेची आठवण म्हणून स्त्री आणि पुरुष दांडिया रास खेळतात असे मानले जाते.

 William Edward Boeing  October 1, 1881 – September 28, 1956) was an American aviation pioneer who founded the Pacific Airplane Company in 1916, which a year later was renamed to The Boeing Company, now the largest exporter in the United States by dollar value and among the largest aerospace manufacturers in the world. William Boeing's first design was the Boeing Model 1 (or B & W Seaplane), which first flew in June 1916, a month before the company was founded. He also helped create the United Aircraft and Transport Corporation (known as "United Airlines" today) in 1929 and served as its chairman. He received the Daniel Guggenheim Medal in 1934 and was posthumously inducted in to the National Aviation Hall of Fame in 1966, ten years after his death.

Gajānan Digambar Mādguḷkar (1 October 1919 – 14 December 1977) was a Marāthi poet, lyricist, writer and actor from India. He is popularly known in his home state of Mahārāshtra by just his initials as Ga Di Mā (गदिमा). He was awarded Sangeet Natak Akademi Award in 1951  and Padma Shri in 1969. He has written 157 screen plays and over 2000 songs in his career He was called Ādhunik Valmiki (the modern Valmiki) of current era due to his composition of Geet Rāmāyan (lit. Ramayana in Songs) as the most notable work. 2019 is celebrated as his Birth Century year. Government of Maharashtra hosts various events and festivals to grace the occasion
