Investigators say Fritz fell into the lake Saturday night before resurfacing. No additional details have been released regarding what caused him to fall into the water.

Turning to Louisville, metro police are investigating a Sunday night fatal shooting in the Jacobs neighborhood. Officers responded to the 2500 block of Nichols View Court just before 8:30 p.m., locating a man suffering from a gunshot wound to the torso. Despite emergency first aid administered by EMS crews, the victim was pronounced dead at the scene. LMPD’s Homicide Unit continues to search for clues, and no suspects are currently in custody.

Also in Louisville, a pedestrian is fighting for his life after being struck by a vehicle Saturday night. Sixth Division officers responded around 9:40 p.m. to the 5300 block of Preston Highway. A preliminary investigation shows the man was standing near the edge of the southbound lanes when he was hit.
