On today’s episode of Fireside Chat, Jess Williams interviews Raymond Funk. Raymond was a student at St. Stephen’s University in the early 2000s. Raymond now works for Vibrant Communities Charlotte County, an organization that works with individuals, non-profits, businesses, and government, focusing on community and regional initiatives to reduce poverty and empower communities in Charlotte County. In this episode, Raymond shares some of the stories that brought him to St. Stephen and the university.

After a brief meditation, we are introduced to Kasane Baxter. Kasane shares a narrative arc: from forgotten Red Room performances prior to enrolment to an academic hiatus that culminates in a form of homecoming.

Throughout the talk, Kasane sincerely shares their exploration of purpose, family, and identity.
