Karen describes her feelings of helplessness as a mum seeing her daughter being so unwell, and reflects on how she felt needed again as a parent. 

Abby shares with us the importance of having her mum stay with her during her treatment on the Teenage Cancer Trust Unit, and how reassuring that was for her. She also shares her feelings of empowerment when she shaved her head, and her overwhelming sense of joy ringing the 'end of treatment' bell.
