Is it necessary for a church to be actively participating in the Great Commission? What does that even mean exactly?

It is not correct to assume that if missionaries will just share their faith and hand out Bibles, that a New Testament Church will be born. It will take a deliberate effort to teach and guide new desciples for a long time.

What are we to learn from the faithful service of pioneer missionaries of generations past? Is there something about their ministries that we can learn from today?

Does seeing the glory of God necessitate a response on the part of man?
