This is my favorite episodes to date. Today I had the good fortune to speak with one of my dearest friends, my little brother Tomas Campos Fox. I’ve known Tomas since he was a 14 year old grom attempting handplants on the ramps of Tashkeel. He is now 24 years old and grown into an eloquent, thoughtful, and dedicated artist and skateboarder. We discuss Tomas’ current state of affairs, where he wants to go in his artistic endeavors, and the impact Tashkeel had on him as a young adult. For those of you who don’t know Tashkeel www.Tashkeel.org is an arts hub located in Nad al Sheba Dubai. It was started by Lateefa bint Maktoum Al Maktoum as an incubator for promising artists in the Middle East to enhance their skills through creative collaborations and access to a wide variety of tools and resources. Tomas and I wax poetic on this place that is steeped in skateboard lore, discuss the impact it had on both of us, and how we can use those experiences to carry the torch forward for future generations of youth to express themselves as creatively and beautifully as possible. Omar (homie, skater/surfer,amazing Photog, radical human being) is, indeed, alive and well and living in France (among other European countries) and, basically, rinsing life to the max. Skateboarding, surfing, #vanlife, beaches, ninja moves... basically any time a fun rinse is presented he’s already rinsed it, is currently rinsing it, or will rinse it soon. Been there... rinsed it w/ Omie the Homie @photo.omar PS we experiment with format in this episode so the conversation is kinda all over the place as we tested some new features. Sadly, our last epic convo recording had an audio glitch and we had to re-record.

Clint is one of the most unusual characters humanity has ever known. Part enigma wrapped in secret sauce, part cleaning aficionado, part hyper-fun surf instructor... all friend. Clint has seen the world through many colored lenses and has lived to tell the tales. In this episode we discuss the inception of surf culture in Dubai and the subsequent evolution of the famous Surf House. We meander into a discussion on Morocco surfing and, more importantly, living.
