Segment #1: "Condolences to Dennis Allen and family"

Dennis Allen was informed on Monday that his 66 year old father and ex-NFL player had suffered cardiac arrest and was in intensive care. Coach Gruden flew to his bedside, but his father did not regain consciousness. He was taken off of life support yesterday. Raider Nation is saddened, and we send out heartfelt condolences.

Segment #2: "W.W.A.D.D."

What would Al Davis do? If Al Davis was still running the Raiders in 2012, what would he be doing right about now, and at the end of the season? We hear thoughts from Greg Papa, Bill Romanowski and Rod Woodson via "The Football Hour" segment on 95.7 "The Game" radio.

Segment #3: "Raiders NFL Draft 2013"

What will the Raiders do in the 2013 NFL Draft? Who will they pick in the first round? Will they keep that pick or trade out for multiple extra picks? Raider Greg gives his thoughts and we hear from 95.7 "The Game" draft correspondent Russ Lande, who has done one of the first mock drafts.

Segment #4: "Have the Raiders spoken to Jon Gruden about returning or not?"

A rumor began yesterday with Hub Arkush of Pro Football Weekly, saying that they got reliable information that the Raiders have spoken with Jon Gruden regarding a position with the team. Initially Raider Greg started doing this segment with the idea that this was just a rumor and probably had no substance. Just after finishing the podcast, more information came out via radio 95.7 "The Game" supporting this story. The Raiders then sent a message out to the media, which was read on 95.7, saying that these rumors were false. Raiders' media relations head Zak Gilbert added that he felt it was in poor taste by the media to be spreading such rumors at a time like this, when Dennis Allen had just lost his father. The staff at 95.7 "The Game" then had Hub Arkush on via telephone to tell his own story. We have included audio of all of this in this segment of the podcast. It will be interesting to see what comes of all this.

We do a little segment on the NFL's concerns about decreased attendance. TV viewership of NFL games is up. Greg gives you some of the stats.

The Saints complete the trifecta of three losses in a row for the Raiders, this one by the score of 38-17 Saints. The only real bright spots were the running of Marcel Reece, some of the passing of Carson Palmer, and that's about it. Raider Greg does his best job of recapping a depressing afternoon. The day did start out with a great tailgate party, as usual. We had a host of Raider Nation Podcast listeners in attendance, and Greg will tell you all about it. The Raiders fell behind by 18 points late in the game, but put together an exciting finish. They scored two touchdowns plus a two point conversion while keeping the Bucs from scoring, to pull within 3 points. They then forced a punt to set themselves up for a final drive to either tie or win in the final minute. But an interception ended the comeback attempt and turned to Coliseum from earsplitting excitement, into a mumbling crowd of disappointed fans heading for the exits. Raider Greg breaks down the game. We also hear some comments from Raiders head coach Dennis Allen.

The Raiders travel cross country to go against Joe Flaco, Ray Rice, and the rest of the Ravens, minus Ray Lewis at least. We hear Raider Greg's analysis plus a sound clip from Bay Area radio station 95.7 "The Game", where they interview Hall of Famer and former Raider Rod Woodson.

The Raiders forced turnovers and won the battle in the trenches to dominate the Chiefs by a score of 26-16. Raider Nation came strong in KC as usual, and by the late 4th quarter the stadium was almost all Silver and Black.

Segment #2: "AFC West Midseason Review"

Raider Greg looks back at what the pundits were predicting for each AFC West team before the season began, and compares that with the actual performance of each team. Denver appears to have the upper hand, but the Raiders are right on their tails waiting for them to slip up.

Segment #3: "Bucs @ Raiders Pregame"

The Raiders host the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in Oakland this Sunday, and we will be there as usual to hopefully witness the Raiders' first three game win steak in a while. Crusader Raider will be in the house, so we hope the Raiders can send him back to London England with a smile on his face.

The tale of two halves. The Raiders found themselves down at halftime, but came out in the second half and tied it up at the end of regulation. They sent the game into overtime and won by a Janikowski field goal. Raider Greg admits that he ALMOST left the Coliseum early, but we both stuck it out and we were glad we did. Many other fans missed a great comeback.
