The Washington Commanders are going all in and showed it by making a splash trade for Deebo Samuel. The former 49ers wide receiver came to DC for a fifth round pick. The NFL Combine kicks off this week and all eyes will be on the top quarterback prospects, Shedeur Sanders and Cam Ward, but it appears neither will do on-field work including throwing drills. While it is a bummer to fans, it should not be viewed as a negative against the players' draft stock. However, teams may factor it into their decisions and teams like the New York Giants, New Orleans Saints, Las Vegas Raiders and New York Jets will all have to decide whether grabbing a veteran or making a move up in the NFL Draft is the right decision at quarterback. The Giants may have to decide between a rookie or Matthew Stafford.
