  • Oh No!!! We Went There

Keith and Rachel talk about one of the two topics you are never supposed to discuss. We tell a little bit of our story and why helping teens learn money skills is so important to us.

Money management is one of the most important skills to learn, yet it seems to be a taboo topic among most people. We want to do everything we can to give a strong foundation to the next generation so that they and their future families don’t have to struggle.

Tomorrow is the day we launch our Teach Your Teen to Win with Money Challenge so we talk about the challenge and how you can join us.

  • Succeeding With Learning Differences

On today’s podcast we chat with sixteen year old Zachary and his mom, Pamela Wyville. As a very young child Zachary found himself struggling in school when it came to learning his letters and reading. He and his mom began a journey to figure out what was going on and what they could do to help him succeed.

Zachary has taken responsibility for his learning and has become an amazing advocate for himself. Pam and Zachary have now become mentors to others going through similar learning challenges. They are using their story and experiences to help other families so they don’t have to go through the journey alone.

    Jill Wolf

For over 27 years Jill Wolf has examined learning through every educational lens (classroom teacher, one-on-one tutor, IEP collaborator, curriculum developer, teacher trainer, administrator, homeschool teacher coach, and learning consultant). Her conclusion – the biggest impact comes from students getting better at learning.

Jill has witnessed many students struggle with moving from dependence on the teacher and parent to confidence in learning regardless of where and how they’re being taught. As a result her mission is to help students get better at learning.

Her current work and programs focus on helping 5th-10th grade students improve their learning skills in order to meet the demands of middle and high school. And the current COVID crisis has awakened an urgent need to help parents as they host and support virtual education at home. She rises to meet these needs with open arms and a heart ready to serve.
