Today, I talk about motherhood, love languages and loving your daughter through every stage and phase of her menstrual cycle with Charise Freeman of Growing in Love Together. Charise is a mom, an author, a speaker and a retired Air Force veteran who helps moms connect with their daughters through the five love languages.

Today, I talk about nourishing our tweens and teens through puberty with Brandee Hommerding of Bee Collective Wellness. Brandee is a certified nutrition therapy practitioner and a self-proclaimed diet culture dropout who works with women to overcome challenges like bloating, fatigue, PMS and irregular menstrual cycles.

I so enjoyed our conversation because it's both deep and practical. We talked about

• how to talk with your kids about macronutrients and why breakfast really is their most important meal of the day;
• how our bodies change during puberty and menopause and ways to nourish ourselves and our daughters through these big life changes;
