Rajai is one of the most famous punjabi short story by renowned punjabi writer Principal Sujan Singh. Teacher by profession, the protagonist of the story is symbolic for the middle class strata of India especially the society of Punjab. He is the father of 5 children home and he considers them as a big mistake. He has a huge family to take care off since many of his relatives have also come from Pakistan. 

This makes the whole situation financially unstable for the breadwinner of the family.  As winters are approaching, 'Rajai' or 'the comforter' is what he seeks for every person living in his house. Unable to purchase new pieces, he finds himself bound to purchase the 'Comforters given over dead'. 

The cover art of this audiobook is made by the artist gurdish pannu and Dr. Ruminder has given voice to this punjabi short story.
