With Thanksgiving being this week, I think it is the perfect time to reflect on all that 2023 has had to offer to each of us. Think about what we are grateful for and what we are grieving.

The Dunning–Kruger effect is a cognitive bias in which people with limited competence in a particular domain overestimate their abilities. We focus on the Mount Stupid part of the effect and not nearly enough on the Valley of Despair where most people are stuck.
