  • Hive music festival week 96 - round 3 👩 Desnudate Mujer 😍
    https://3speak.tv/watch?v=randolpheel1/crtmtaqh
Hello, my Hive Music Festival brethren! Recently, I immersed myself in the interpretation of a song that carries a very intense emotional charge: ["Desnúdate Mujer"](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Ps2MZPzBbX8) by Frankie Ruiz. This song, with its mix of romantic salsa and raw message, led me to explore not only the notes and chords on my guitar, but also the emotions behind each word. When I performed this song, I found myself facing a tale of disillusionment and betrayal. The lyrics begin with a confession, "I don't know, why you cheat on me if I, if I adore you." It is a lament that resonates deep inside, a cry from the soul of someone who does not understand why he has been betrayed. It is curious how music can be a channel to express that pain that, on many occasions, is difficult to put into words. As the song progresses, the story takes an introspective turn: "Maybe it was my fault that I didn't know how to assert myself from the beginning." Here, we are introduced to the vulnerability of the narrator, who questions his own role in the relationship. It is a reminder of how, in our lives, we sometimes allow certain dynamics to play out, and in the end, we end up paying the emotional price. The phrase "Get naked woman, I want to see the art you have when you make love too" made me stop and think. It is not just a physical request, but a desperate attempt to reconnect with something that has been lost, to understand once again who the person in front of him really is. It is a search for the truth, for the emotional nudity that reveals much more than the physical. However, the strongest impact comes with "You deceived me, your body is strange to me, you are another naked woman." It is the climax of disillusionment, the moment when the narrator realizes that he no longer recognizes the person with whom he shared his life. The betrayal has transformed his partner into someone unrecognizable, into a figure he can no longer look at with the same eyes as before. In making this cover, I wanted to capture that mix of confusion, pain and longing that the lyrics convey. Through my guitar and voice, I tried to convey the depth of these feelings, turning each chord into an extension of the wounded soul that sings this story. I hope my interpretation allows you to connect with these emotions and reflect on the complexities of love and betrayal.
    estoy palidecido
y un poco asustado de ti
Me engañaste, tu cuerpo me es extraño
    eres otra mujer desnuda

  • Hive music festival week 95 - round 2 🤪 Que Locura Enamorarme De Ti 😍
    https://3speak.tv/watch?v=randolpheel1/rxsdpiin
Hello, my brothers of the Hive Music Festival! Today I want to share with you a musical experience that connected me deeply with the essence of an impossible love. I did a cover on guitar and vocals of the iconic song ["Qué Locura Enamorarme de Ti"](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yJUWBm9EVSU) by Eddie Santiago, a salsa that, despite its upbeat rhythm, carries a message loaded with melancholy and longing. As I performed this song, each word resonated in me as if I were reliving a personal story. The lyrics describe a desperate confession to a friend, a secret love that cannot be freely expressed. It is a love that consumes, a love that grows in silence, filling every thought, every breath, and at the same time, it is a love that hurts, because it is meant to be hidden. The phrase "How crazy to fall in love with you" is so powerful because it encapsulates that duality. What greater madness can there be than to fall in love with someone we can't have? The song takes us on a journey of emotions, where passion is mixed with resignation, where desire is trapped in a cycle of silence and fear. As I performed this piece, I felt each note as an extension of that unrequited love. The guitar, with its soft chords, seemed to tell its own story of contained desire, while my voice tried to convey that feeling of wanting the impossible. I connected with the idea of a love that, though it cannot be, is still strong, persistent, and somehow beautiful in its own tragedy. In the chorus, when I sing "How crazy it was to look right at you, and silently, I love you," there is a painful acceptance of reality. It is both a liberating and sad confession, one that we have all felt at one time or another, when we have loved in secret, with the certainty that our love will not be reciprocated. This cover is not only an interpretation of a song; it is an exploration of the complexity of unrequited love. It is an invitation to feel, to remember those loves that, although they never blossomed, left an indelible mark in our hearts.

  • VIBES 🎶 Web3 music competition week 18 🎼 "Te Hice Mujer" | Cover by @randolpheel1
    https://3speak.tv/watch?v=randolpheel1/haaliqsi
Hello my vibes brothers! I want to share with you my latest cover, a guitar and vocal interpretation of ["Te Hice Mujer"](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DbKXbAJBAI8) by La Dimensión Latina. This song, full of passion and deep emotions, has allowed me to connect with its message in a very personal way. Here is my experience and an analysis of the lyrics that have inspired me so much. From the first chord to the last note, "Te Hice Mujer" is a song that goes through nostalgia, heartbreak and the affirmation of one's identity. As I interpreted it, I was immersed in the complexity of its feelings, in a mixture of melancholy and affirmation that La Dimensión Latina knew how to capture with mastery. The opening verses lead me to reflect on the disenchantment and loss of connection in a relationship. The protagonist faces the harsh reality of not being enough for his partner, of having lost the touch that used to make her vibrate. It is a blow to the ego and the heart, a confrontation with the painful truth of heartbreak. Then, the singer appeals to shared memories, to the invisible marks that left their mark on her skin and soul. It is an affirmation that, despite the present disdain, there was a time when passion and love united them in an indissoluble way. This is a reminder of the intensity of their love and how it defined a fundamental part of her identity. The climax of the song presents us with a man determined to prove that youth and passion are no barriers to true love. The invitation to return, to relive those moments of surrender, is both a plea and a declaration of eternal love. He fervently believes that, through his love, he can rekindle the flame that once united them. Performing "I Made You a Woman" was an incredibly enriching experience. Every note and every word resonated within me, reminding me of the fragility of relationships and the intensity of human feelings. I hope you enjoy my version as much as I enjoyed preparing it. This song reminded me of the importance of valuing every moment and fighting for what we love, even when all seems lost. Thank you for joining me on this journey. See you in the next performance!

    Ven a mi cama
Te probare que no es así
    Al inyectarte mi querer
    Hoy volverás a ser mujer
    Mi eterna amada

  • Hive music festival week 94 - round 1 🍂 Las Hojas Blancas 🍃
    https://3speak.tv/watch?v=randolpheel1/rfajikpa
Hello, my brothers of the Hive Music Festival! Today I want to share with you a new cover that fills me with a mixture of nostalgia and gratitude. It's ["Las Hojas Blancas"](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=f8XxheK8mEA) by El Gran Combo, a song that, with its depth and feeling, resonated deeply in me since the first time I heard it. I decided to perform it with my guitar and my voice, and I want to tell you a little about what this song means to me and how it made me reflect. As I played "Las Hojas Blancas," I found myself reflecting on the passage of time and the transformations that come with it. The lyrics are a powerful reminder of how the "white leaves" in our hair symbolize not only physical aging, but also the accumulation of experiences and wisdom. Each verse made me think of my own experiences, the moments of joy and the moments of regret, all the good I've tried to do and the mistakes I've inevitably made. The line "White leaves are falling on my scalp and my body, yes, keeps wearing out" is especially striking. It speaks to us of the inevitability of aging and physical wear and tear, but also of the maturity and peace that can come with accepting these changes. In my interpretation, I tried to convey that feeling of acceptance and serenity that can be found in making peace with the past and appreciating each stage of our lives. As I sang "The time has come for me to feel content for all the good I have done and also the time for regret for the mistakes I have made," I felt a deep connection to the idea that life is a constant balancing act. All of us carry a mix of accomplishments and regrets, and this song reminded me of the importance of recognizing and learning from both. Every note and every word was a meditation on the importance of living with integrity and compassion, both towards others and ourselves. I hope my version of "The White Leaves" conveys to you some of the introspection and peace I felt while performing it. Music has the power to connect our experiences and emotions, and I feel fortunate to be able to share this part of my journey with you. Every cover I do is an opportunity to explore and express different aspects of life, and this particular song has left a significant mark on me. See you in the next post!

  • Jammig Zone Week #21 🎶 Solsticio ⚓
    https://3speak.tv/watch?v=randolpheel1/opzbssyd
Greetings my Hive brothers. Recently, I embarked on an exciting project for the "Jamming Zone" initiative, where I wrote a freestyle over a trap track. I titled this song "Hope", and it is a reflection of my deepest thoughts and feelings, expressed through hip hop. Here is an analysis of the meaning of the lyrics: I tried to capture the duality of life, the challenges and the small joys we find along the way. The first verse reflects an internal struggle, the difficulty of finding happiness in a world full of complexity and constant learning. The use of images such as "the stain you never cleaned on the tapestry" and "how among the earth an earthworm searches for light" symbolizes those small imperfections and daily struggles we all face. The second stanza delves into the search for something greater than oneself, spiritual transcendence amidst the chaos of everyday life. Here, gratitude emerges as a powerful force, something that helps us stay centered and appreciative, despite challenges. In the third stanza, I speak of the transformative power of love and passion, suggesting that these can turn even hatred into virtue. It is an affirmation that our energy and passion, especially in our youth, can carry us far, to the edge of our lives. The fourth and fifth stanzas address more somber themes, such as war, the loss of innocents, and the hypocrisy of world leaders. There is a sense of hopelessness in the observation of injustice and violence, but also a critique of the indifference and cynicism of today's society. Finally, the song closes with a ray of hope. Despite all the difficulties and tragedies, there is a firm belief in the possibility of a better future. The image of the rain necessary for tillage is a metaphor for the trials we must overcome in order to move forward. It is a call to the new generation to keep fighting and not to lose hope. Writing "Hope" was a cathartic experience for me. It allowed me to express my concerns, my fears and, above all, my hope for a better future. I am excited to share this song with you and hope that you find in it a reflection of your own struggles and dreams.

  • Hive Open Mic #224 🎤 Summertime 🎶 Mi Persona Favorita
    https://3speak.tv/watch?v=randolpheel1/wdxanreq
Greetings to all my musical friends at Hive Open Mic! Today I'm excited to share with you my latest cover: [“Mi Persona Favorita”](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SLysAoJ8_FE) by Alejandro Sanz. This song has been one of my favorites for a long time, and has inspired me deeply. The version I have done on guitar and vocals is my way of paying tribute to this beautiful piece of music that captures the essence of love and admiration. The lyrics of “Mi Persona Favorita” resonate with a simplicity and depth that catches me every time I listen to it. Alejandro Sanz has a unique ability to convey emotions through his words, and I think this song is a perfect example of his talent. The phrase “Yo no entiendo de colores ni de razas, a mí me gusta el morenito de tu cara” reflects a pure and selfless acceptance, a celebration of beauty that transcends superficial differences. In the song, Sanz sings about the impact that someone special has on his life: “Se me corta la respiración por ti”. This line reminds me of the intensity of the feelings we experience when we are in love or deeply connected to someone. It's that feeling that every moment by their side is priceless, as if the world stops for an instant. The chorus, “My favorite person has a pretty face, has an angel in her smile,” is a simple but powerful statement of the appreciation and affection we feel for that special person in our lives. Through my cover, I have tried to capture the sweetness and sincerity of these words, conveying the same emotion that the original song gives me. Doing this cover has been a very rewarding experience. It has allowed me to explore my own connection to the music and to express, through my interpretation, what this song means to me. I hope you enjoy my version as much as I enjoyed creating it, thank you for joining me on this musical journey!
    A mi persona favorita
    Yo le canto esta cosita
    De juguete, ten mi vida
    Juega con mi corazón

  • Hive music festival week 93 - round 3 📰 Periódico de Ayer 🗞️
    https://3speak.tv/watch?v=randolpheel1/wknccmvt
Hello, my Hive Music Festival brothers! Today I decided to cover the iconic song [“Periódico de Ayer”](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZThOVeoaBN8) by Héctor Lavoe. This song, with its mix of salsa and deep lyricism, has always had a special place in my heart, and I decided to pay tribute to it with my interpretation on guitar and vocals. Performing it was like reliving a past love story, with all its emotions and lessons learned. The lyrics, which compare a past love to an old newspaper that no one reads anymore, resonate with a universal truth about how some experiences in life can lose their relevance over time, despite having been intense and meaningful at the time. Each phrase of the song is a reflection on the transience of love and how, sometimes, what was news at one time becomes a mere memory in the “album of forgetfulness.” As I played and sang this song, I felt a mixture of nostalgia and acceptance. Lavoe's melody and words led me to remember moments from the past that, although they no longer have a place in my daily life, have been fundamental to my personal growth. The line “Tu amor es un periódico de ayer, que nadie más procura ya ya leer” captures that essence of something that was important but has been left behind, a story that is no longer told. I love how the song uses the newspaper metaphor to talk about the fading of love. Just as yesterday's news is no longer relevant today, some relationships lose their meaning over time. This doesn't mean they weren't valuable, but simply that they served their purpose in our lives and are now part of the past. This interpretation was a reminder to me of the importance of living in the present and appreciating what we have now, without getting caught up in what no longer is. And why read a newspaper from yesterday, when there are so many new stories to discover and experience? I hope this cover of “Yesterday's Newspaper” has touched you as much as it has me. Through this song, I want to celebrate not only the music of Hector Lavoe, but also the power of music to help us process and understand our own stories.

  • Jammig Zone Week #20 🎶 Solsticio 🌞
    https://3speak.tv/watch?v=randolpheel1/fpzbewpl
Greetings my Hive brothers. I wrote and recorded a freestyle over a trap track, titled “Solstice”. This song is a reflection of my deepest thoughts and emotions, wrapped in the rhythm and cadence of hip hop. I want to share not only the lyrics, but also an analysis of what it means to me. “Solstice” is an exploration of my inner struggles and the complexity of human relationships. The first verse reveals the pain of letting go of someone important, a process that taught me valuable lessons about following my heart. It is a reminder of how repeated mistakes can change our course, sometimes without realizing where we are headed. The second stanza addresses the difficulties of overcoming whims and how often our decisions are influenced by irrational impulses. The line “thinking so much drives me crazy” captures the struggle with over-analysis, which often paralyzes us instead of helping us move forward. In the third stanza, I express the loss of faith and the growth of fear, highlighting how some suffer thinking they deserve it, while others presume what they actually lack. This dichotomy highlights the falsehood and insecurity we may encounter in our daily interactions. The fourth stanza is a critique of dishonesty and distrust. “I went in good faith and several took advantage” is a confession of the disappointments suffered from trusting the wrong people, and how this has made me more cautious in reaching out. Finally, the line “I would like to be free of prejudice, to see the light beyond the solstice” reflects my desire to overcome judgments and find clarity. It is a call to free myself from vices and forgive myself for allowing someone to treat me a certain way. The last stanza reveals the struggle to regain balance after a fall and the pain of discovering difficult truths behind a facade of affection. Writing “Solstice” was a cathartic experience that allowed me to capture in words and music the complexities of my emotions and thoughts. I hope that by sharing this song and its analysis, I can connect with those who have experienced similar feelings and offer a vision of hope and self-understanding Thank you for reading and listening! 🎶✨

  • Hive Open Mic #223 🎤 Una Canción para Lecumberre🎶 Amor y Control
    https://3speak.tv/watch?v=randolpheel1/ftruruua
Covering Rubén Blades [“Amor y Control”](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=22sg9Kw45ZU) was a deeply emotional and meaningful experience for me. This song, loaded with a powerful message about unconditional love and family strength, resonated in my heart in a special way, especially when I thought of Mr. @Lecumberre, to whom I dedicate this cover. The song begins with a heartbreaking scene: the narrator leaves the hospital after visiting his mother, who is fighting an incurable cancer. As he walks, he sees a family composed of an elderly man, a lady, two girls and several other people. Next to the gentleman, walks a young man with his head down, visibly remorseful. We discover that this young man is the cause of a difficult family situation, a burden that the older man assumes with love and control. The following lines reflect a universal truth: love and family responsibility transcend failures and mistakes. It is a call to compassion and resilience, to face difficulties together no matter how great. The song goes on to describe how the family faces its pain, walking together through thick and thin. This insight made me reflect deeply on my own family, how much I love them and how important it is to be united in difficult times. Then the song reminds us that, although tragedies may differ in nature, love and control are essential to overcome any adversity. I was flooded with emotions, thinking of the strength it takes to handle so much pain with dignity and love. Mr. Lecumberre, to whom I dedicate this cover, represents for me that figure of unconditional love and strength. His life and his way of facing challenges are a living example of the message of this song. With this cover, I not only want to pay tribute to his life and legacy, but also to celebrate the power of love and control in our lives. I hope this cover touches the hearts of those who hear it, just as the original song has done for me. May it remind us all of the importance of family, love and the ability to face hardship with courage and compassion.
    # Lyric (Spanish song)
    Saliendo del hospital
Después de ver a mi mamá
    Luchando contra un cáncer
    Que no se puede curar
    Vi pasar a una familia
Al frente iba un señor de edad
    Una doña, dos muchachas
    Y varias personas mas
    De la mano del señor
    Un hombre joven caminaba
    Cabizbajo y luciendo arrepentido
Que el era la causa de
    Una situación familiar
De la que nos enteramos al oír
    Al señor gritar
    Aunque tu seas un ladrón
    Y aunque no tienes razón
Yo tengo la obligación de socorrerte
Y por mas drogas que uses
Y por mas que nos abuses
La familia y yo tenemos que atenderte
Oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh
    Cuanto control y cuanto amor
Tiene que haber en una casa
    Mucho control y mucho amor
    Para enfrentar a la desgracia
    Amor y control

Hello, I am Randolph Echenique, originally from Venezuela and I work as a musician, composer and singer-songwriter. My passion focuses especially on urban and Caribbean sounds. I consider myself a bit of a rebel in my musical approach, but I am always willing to live magical experiences through the art of music. My goal is to constantly improve and prepare to fully enjoy the richness of musical life. I live day to day letting things flow without pressure, mainly enjoying my guitar and my voice. I come from a family of musicians; My father was a percussionist and my teacher, a Cuban specialized in woodwind instruments, but with extensive knowledge in various musical fields. Music flows in my veins and is a fundamental part of my identity.

  • Hive music festival week 92 - round 2 🎤 El Cantante 👨‍🎤
    https://3speak.tv/watch?v=randolpheel1/ggduttqk
Hello, my Hive Music Festival brothers and sisters! Today I want to talk to you about my interpretation of [“El Cantante”](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BNo0vkEYWRc), an iconic song performed by Héctor Lavoe and composed by Rubén Blades. Let me share with you an analysis of the lyrics and how I connected with each verse as I worked on my version. From the first verse, “Yo, soy el cantante, que hoy han venido a escuchar”, I felt completely identified. Music has always been a fundamental part of my life, and every time I play or sing, I feel that responsibility and honor of being the performer that people want to hear. It is an indescribable feeling, knowing that the audience is there to share that moment with you, to enjoy “the best of the repertoire” that you have to offer. The song goes on to talk about how I sing “to life, of laughter and sorrow, of bad times and good things”. This verse is particularly meaningful to me. Music has that ability to be a reflection of life itself, with all its joys and sorrows. Every note and every word I sing is infused with my own experiences, my highs and lows, and it's amazing to be able to convey that through my performance. One of the most profound aspects of the song is when he says: “I get stopped, always on the street, many people who comment, Hey Hector, ha! you are made, always with females and at parties. And nobody asks if I suffer, if I cry, if I have a pain that hurts very deep”. This is a reminder that, although artists may always seem happy and successful, they are also human with their own problems and emotions. For me, singing this part made me reflect on the times behind the scenes when I have had to face my own personal struggles. The part where he says “I'm the singer, very popular wherever I want, but when the show is over, I'm just another human” touches my soul. It's a universal truth for artists: fame and applause are temporary, and at the end of the day, we all go back to our daily lives, with its challenges and its blessings. This verse makes me feel a deeper connection with the audience, reminding us that we all share a common humanity. Finally, the refrain “And to those who follow me, my song I will toast” is a declaration of love and gratitude to all of you who have supported me on this musical journey. Every time I play my guitar and sing, I do it thinking of you, of how I can offer you the best of myself. Doing this cover of “El Cantante” has been an eye-opening and rewarding experience. I hope that when you listen to it, you can feel the passion and emotion that I put in every chord and every word. Thank you for joining me on this musical journey and for being part of this wonderful community.
    # Lyric (Spanish song)
    Yo, soy el cantante
Que hoy han venido a escuchar
    Lo mejor, del repertorio
    A ustedes voy a brindar
    Y canto a la vida
    De risas y penas
    De momentos malos
    Y de cosas buenas
    Vinieron a divertirse
    Y pagaron en la puerta
    No hay tiempo para tristezas
    Vamos cantante, comienza
    Eh, le le, le le
Me paran, siempre en la calle
    Mucha gente que comenta
¡Oye hector, ha! tú estás hecho
Siempre con hembras y en fiestas
    Y nadie pregunta
    Si sufro, si lloro
    Si tengo una pena
    Que hiere muy hondo
    Yo soy el cantante
Por qué lo mío es cantar
    Y el público paga
    Para poderme escuchar
    Eh le le
    Yo, soy el cantante
    Muy popular donde quiera
Pero cuando el show se acaba
    Soy otro humano cualquiera
    Y sigo mi vida
    Con risas y penas
    Con ratos amargos
    Y con cosas buenas
    Yo soy el cantante
    Y me negocio es cantar
Y a los que me siguen
    Mi canción voy a brindar
Hoy te dedico mis mejores pregones
