Over the years I have been quite healthy. I have experienced some health challenges, but since I retired, I have had a few new health issues, as many of you, who are listening to this podcast, may be experiencing as well. Grab a coffee and join me for what ails me.

It's the May long weekend and according to the tradition in my home town, it is the time to plant. My green thumb falls far short of sustaining plant life, post nursery purchase. The plants don't have a hope of surviving my horticultural deficiencies. Grab a coffee and enjoy a walk in the garden with me as I describe my plant challenged history of gardening
It's almost summer and many people who can travel safely within within their Health Zone are planning on camping out somewhere on the long weekend in May. Sitting here in my camping chair outside my RV, brought to mind a winter camping trip with my Scout Pack when I was 11 years old. Things are quite a bit different now. Grab a coffee and relax for the next 15 minutes as I share this story with you.
I have always struggled with pride and found that as I became proud within, life would present a situation in which I would immediately become humbled publically. Throughout my life I had always felt insecure and a large amount of shame. Here are a couple of stories of my life's journey through these obstacles that cause one to be self-conscious and lack confidence. Grab a coffee and enjoy.
Have you ever had one of those days when everything seems to go wrong consistently all day long? It is like a personal Black Friday, but, more than just financial, it included everything in your day. Mine included physical injury, opportunities to feel shame, disappointment, frustration and many other emotions that rise to the surface when you are being squeezed in the press of stress. It is actually the best time to look at the sequence vortex of events and remind yourself, that yeah, this is actually funny. Grab a coffee and enjoy.
Stories from my years as a first responder. The job is really difficult and sometimes overwhelming, but there are many humorous situations that happen as well. I recorded this podcast outside one afternoon and while editing the episode I must have picked up some of the sirens and such from the police, fire and ambulance responding to a call nearby. Just adds to the episode. Hope these stories bring a smile to your day.
