They say losing something is
Like having a hole in your life, waiting
For it to be filled with another person/
Another thing/another event/another
Memory. But for me, losing something
Is like digging fresh soil of the earth
And reciting the same anthem of
“Good bye”, “It’s great to know you”,
And “I hope we will stay in touch”.
Many rarely keep their promises so
The fresh graves darken with time,
With neglect, and with loss of fondness.
However, on certain occasion they will be
Revisited with pretty flowers and
Looked upon with a sad remembrance.
It was and it had been, and now it’s gone.
This rollercoaster I’m feeling right
Now tastes bittersweet.
