From their places of isolation, Meg and Sonal are right in the midst of the pandemic with the rest of the globe. And for the first time, it's okay to not be okay! Across the whole world! Back in the pre-pandemic era, if you weren't feeling okay, you weren't really supposed to talk about it. But right now, we have a chance to feel all the feels. We can make time and space for unprocessed feelings, like grief and trauma. It's painful, but at least we are all going through something together. Grieve deeply! The more we learn to express grief, the more we can express joy.

This is a crazy time in human history, unlike anything most of us have experienced in our lifetimes! We are ALL part of a GLOBAL pandemic, and as this story unfolds, we are adapting the best we can! And we hope the audio works on this episode! Meg is in Virginia and Sonal is Chicago. We share some of the unexpected pros of what seems to be so many cons, and some of our favorite conspiracy theories!

What is a trope even? What is the difference between and trope and a stereotype? Sonal and Meg catch each other up on some adventures in Caucasia. And then they explore the damaging effects of 'the good girl' trope.

Once you truly master not giving a fuck, you get to the fun shit, choosing WHERE you give your fucks. Cause ‘not giving a fuck’ is not sustainable. You will burn bridges. Sonal and Meg have burned many. It’s a lot of work to rebuild. And the restoration of harmony is much harder when trust is broken!

So you can’t ever truly ‘not give a fuck,’ or you are probably Steve Jobs. In that case, go for it. He had a pretty bad relationship with his family. So did Gandhi! His kids hated him, and would have loved for his fucks to be directed towards them. Even a couple fucks.

We weave each other into these tapestries of lies! One episode is not enough, we will probably have to return to the very subjective topic of truth. Meg and Sonal are huge liars, mainly to their parents though... which is ultimately for their own good... right?

Being an ally is pretty complicated! How do we use our voices for good? When is it better to stfu and listen? We are all fragmented into so many identities, Meg is an ally to Taylor Swift, Sonal is trying to be a good American. In this episode, we explore all the ways to represent!
