You thought you had gotten rid of us? Only in Clarence Thomas' dreams. For our tenth episode, we decided to discuss the Bill of Rights (way back in December of 2021)! A lot of our references are very out of date but luckily that pairs well with our outdated and horrible political opinions on the first 10 constitutional amendments! Hope you didn't miss us too much during our extended hiatus :p
Having three million 2020 DNC candidates did no good for the election, our little brains, or democracy -- but it did make for one sick Rank and File episode :)
Sorry for the crunchy audio! We are dumb and broke :)
Your favorite podcasters are at it once again. And by it, we of course mean having horrible and nonsensical takes on the status of past landmark SCOTUS cases. In this episode, RJ, Nathan, and Mady finish the final eight cases that the AP believes are essential to understanding the US government and perhaps more importantly, passing their test. Between college, high school, and one incredible guest performance -- can RJ and Nathan pull together and give you a great podcast episode? No, they cannot. Enjoy!
Wowie! It took only six episodes before we completely abandoned the concept of the show! In this episode, RJ and Nathan take a breather and take political compass tests as RJ moves across the country to MSU! Enjoy getting a slightly deeper dive into the minds of your two favorite podcast hosts as they discuss labor relations, goals of education, consumerism and its effects, the weighing of safety/security against individual freedom, and a whole bunch of other wacky stuff! Enjoy (we sure did) !
Funky and cool episode coming at you, all about the various revolts and rebellions that have shaped the way America has functioned over the years. RJ and Nathan finally discover that not all revolts against the US government are all that great by applying a three pronged test: 1) the reason behind revolt, 2) what transpired at the revolt, 3) and the implications and outcomes that occurred because of the rebellion. Enjoy!
