My biggest fear about trying to help these Dead/Injured birds in Harlem thanks to cheap as fuck Artimus Construction who refused to pay to install bird-friendly glass happened this morning when a tiny warbler'y type bird crashed & fell at my feet. FUCK! And I freaked the fuck out. Legit screaming & running away from the building like a lunatic. I can not unhear the sound that bird made hitting the glass at full speed & then plummeting to the concrete. Now i have some PTSD type bullshit & my stomach is in nots. IT'S A FIXABLE, PREVENTABLE PROBLEM. Pass the fucking bird friendly legislation already.

Walk the walk talk the talk. I'm so deep down the birding hole I went to my first ever NYC council meeting to support the BIRD FRIENDLY GLASS BILL & damn these birders showed tha fuck up. Mind blown. Everybody got a chance to speak. Money speaks the loudest though. The psychological angst is legit of walking to Central Park now and dreading if I'm going to come across any injured or dead birds. Thank god for Terrance & his Life Saving Bird Bag & the people at the Wild Bird Fund. This is a fixable and preventable problem.
