In this rapid-reaction Recruit Check, Ben Garrett and Zach Berry of the Ole Miss Spirit deep-dive into Thursday’s news that Western Kentucky center Jamarion Sharp — the tallest player (7-foot-5) in college basketball — is transferring to Ole Miss for his final season of eligibility.

Sharp is the third transfer addition so far for Beard and staff in their debut Rebel off-season. Ole Miss has also committed Georgetown wing Brandon Murray and Arizona State point guard Austin Nunez.
