If you spend some time in certain National Parks you are bound to run into some bears at one point or another. In this Rat Tale we hear from Tom who has some experience with standoffs with the wildlife of Glacier and Yellowstone. 

Bears are an amazing site to see in National Parks but they are something to be respected. When following the proper safety steps, bears can be a perfectly safe encounter but sometimes they just come out of nowhere and it can be hard to be ready to handle the situation.
