  • Bob Dylan's Highway 61 Revisited | S1 Episode 6
This time round Mark and Saul discuss the relative merits of Bob Dylan’s Highway 61 Revisited, the middle album in the Highway 61 trilogy, considered the highlight of the three. Afterall the final chapter Highway 61: The Revenge, was broadly considered by critics to be a pitiful shadow of its predecessors which pretty much ruined the franchise.
Turns out that once again Mark hadn’t heard one of the most influential records of the 20th century. So no surprise there, probably because it’s not by bloody Tool. Mark goes on about Mountain Goats, whereas Saul unveils his adoration of the band Joseph, who are bloody lovely people with some of the most gorgeous voices you’ll hear in your short lives. Saul has seen them perform live six times now and maybe an intervention might be required.

  • Supertramp's Crime of the Century | S1 Episode 5
Returning after a sudden and unexpected break, its more Rate the Great!
Supertramp are one of those bands you think you know, but you can't really name one of their songs. In the back of your mind you're wondering if they sing that Afternoon Delight song, but maybe that's Lynard Skynard.
Occasionally actually talking about Supertramp, Mark Howes and Saul Henry go off on one about Orville Peck, Restorations, Terrorvision, Pavement, Rush, Chas & Dave, DE LA Soul, Dave, Randy Newman and Mark goes on about Tool for the 47th episode in a row.

  • Rolling Stones's Beggar's Banquet | S1 Episode 4
The Roling Stoneseseseeseses’s fourth best album features an ode to figting in teh streets, goes on about sleeping with under age girls and has a song that sounds like a steam train. Also for some reason we could have looked into, but didn’t, it has two different album covers.
Occasionally actually talking about the subject at hand, Mark and Saul Henry go off on one about Lil Peep, Tool, Robert Johnson, SIxNine and someone Saul can’t remember as he types this.
Also some of the audio drops are a little janky, but we’re not sure why and we’ve decided we’ll live with it. Apologies if that’s annoying.

  • Alice in Chains's Dirt | S1 Episode 3
Taking a deep breath and discussing one of Saul’s favourite album’s of all time, the intrepid pair try to remember things from 25 years ago. One of the best sellling ‘grunge’ albums of all time, and one that went platinum before Nirvana’s Nevermind in the US of the A.
Occasionally actually talking about the subject at hand, Mark and Saul Henry mention loads of other bands too including Quicksand, Jeffrey Lewis, some podcasts, Mother Love Bone, Soundgarden, Mudhoney, all the usual suspects of ‘grunge’ really.

  • Michael Jackson's Thriller | S1 Episode 2 FIXED AUDIO
Discussing MJ’s seminal Thriller album. The best selling studio album of all time, heard by almost everyone; except Mark Howes who has somehow never actually bloody heard it before. Saul keeps biting his tongue too!
Occasionally actually talking about the subject at hand, Mark and Saul Henry mention loads of other bands too including Metallica, Alice in Chains, Stevie Wonder, All Them Witches, Nas, SWV and Restorations. Toto get a few shouts out too, cos Mark would not shut up about them!
