In this episode, we shift gears towards the trancey soundscapes I promised last time. Trance is one of the most diverse music genres, spanning many different sub-genres and styles. Today, I'd like to highlight a specific, emerging sound that is fast-paced, heads-down, and sits somewhere between early 90s trance and the psychedelic scene. We call it Raw Trance, and this is where the most forward-thinking and underground trance currently is, in my opinion. Enjoy!

I feel that nowadays many people use the word ‘techno’ to describe something entirely different, sometimes they call progressive house tunes ‘techno’, sometimes trance tracks are mislabeled as ‘techno’, and there is, of course, a whole ‘melodic techno’ thing which rarely does anything to do with techno.
