Eddia Watts is a pageant title holder, published author, copyeditor, photographer, as well as a mental health advocate. In April 2019, she faced a downward spiral within her mental health journey, resulting in trying to take her own life 9 times over the course of 3 months. She took control of her life and destiny and has been a mental health advocate ever since. Throughout her own journey, she has learned to put boundaries in place and has also taken a few steps back to focus on her own mental health and wellness.
