Another special episode! It's 3.4.96, this time it's the WWF's turn to air an unopposed episode of WWF Raw (Nitro was replaced by a civil war movie over on TNT this week).

It's Raw vs Nitro! The date is 2.26.96, WWF Raw is on the USA Network while Nitro is airing live on TNT. It's time to once again relive another monday night ratings battle!

WCW Monday Nitro and WWF Monday Night Raw went head to head in a television ratings battle beginning in 1995. With Nitro being a live show and the WWF presenting taped matches on Raw, Eric Bischoff would sometimes give away the WWF results during the live Nitro broadcast. This is exactly what happens on this week's show, Eric gives away every match result before Raw even goes on the air. 

The date is 2.19.1996. One night after WWF In Your House 6, we now have confirmation of a few WrestleMania XII matches; Shawn Michaels vs Bret Hart and Diesel vs The Undertaker. The mind games between Big Daddy Cool and The Phenom officially begin on this weeks episode of Raw when Diesel goes after The Undertaker's casket. 

Over on WCW Nitro, we are 2 weeks removed from SuperBrawl VI and Hulk Hogan vs The World is still ongoing. We have a high calibre WCW Championship match this week pitting Ric Flair against Randy Savage, and Hulk Hogan is also in action against Arn Anderson.

The date is 5.12.1996, we are one week away from WCW Superbrawl VI and two weeks away from the WWF's In Your House 6 pay per view. WCW are promoting Ric Flair vs Randy Savage inside a steel cage while the WWF have a steel cage match of their own coming up, "Big Daddy Cool" Diesel vs Bret Hart. Both the WWF and WCW present some big names in the run-up to their respective pay per views on this week's episodes of Raw and Nitro, including Shawn Michaels, Hulk Hogan, The Undertaker, Ric Flair, Randy Savage and Bret Hart. 

Its 1.29.96, the WWF are showing taped matches while Nitro, as always, is live. WCW just wrapped up their Clash of the Champions special on TBS while the WWF have been building towards In Your House 6 and WrestleMania XII. Superstars included in this episode of Reliving The War include Bret Hart, Shawn Michaels, Hulk Hogan, The Giant, Ric Flair, Diesel and many more. 

The date is 1.22.1996, One night after the 1996 Royal Rumble, the WWF presents a live show from Stockton, California while Nitro is live from Las Vegas, Nevada. WCW is going to produce 2 nights of television, an episode of Nitro and Clash of The Champions. 

Shawn Michaels just won the Royal Rumble and he's on his way to WrestleMania XII, however a certain Louisville Slugger wants to take HBK's title oppurtunity away. Bret Hart is still the WWF champion after the Royal Rumble and on this episode of Raw, The Excellence of Execution steps into the ring with new Intercontinental Champion Goldust. Over on Nitro, Randy Savage gets his WCW title oppurtunity in the opening match while Sting and Lex Luger challenge Harlem Heat for the WCW tag belts.

The Monday Night TV ratings battle between the WWF and WCW continues in the Wrestling Bios "Reliving The War" series. WCW Monday Nitro and WWF Monday Night Raw are going head to head on the 15th of January 1996, Vince McMahon and the WWF are heading towards the 1996 Royal Rumble while Eric Bischoff and WCW are promoting a Clash of The Champions special airing 2 days after the rumble. The Royal Rumble will feature the return of Shawn Michaels, the debut of Vader, and Bret Hart defending the WWF championship against The Undertaker. Clash of the Champions will see The Mega Powers teaming up to take on Ric Flair and The Giant. Who will win this week's Raw vs Nitro TV ratings?

The January 8th 1996 edition of WWF Raw features the debut of Steve Austin. Austin came into the WWF as "The Ringmaster", the latest addition to The Million Dollar corporation. Austin would go on to become a key player in the Monday Night Wars, so this broadcast of Raw is quite noteworthy. Also on the WWF side, we see another Billionaire Ted skit while Shawn Michaels reveals his status for the 1996 Royal Rumble. 

On Nitro, a huge tag team main event is booked featuring The Mega Powers taking on The Horsemen. Sting is also in action against Diamond Dallas Page, and Eddie Guerrero tries to steal the show once again against Lord Steven Regal. 

We have reached the very beginning of 1996 on "Reliving The War". WCW Monday Nitro and WWF Monday Night Raw are about to start an important year and right off the bat, both companies are taking note of eachother. Eric Bischoff begins 1996 by giving away the Raw results while Vince McMahon decides to air the Billionaire Ted skits. 1996 is going to be interesting.
