Indonesia's cocktail culture is growing rapidly this past few years. Speakeasy, and crafted cocktail bar is popping up around Jakarta and other major cities, serving their own version of delicious signature cocktails. Cocktails are to be savoured not only to get drunk, and consequently bartenders and mixologist are now included in the spotlight. 

Tariq Widarso is a sociology teacher, historian, anthropologist, drink photographer and home mixologist. He discussed current Jakarta's cocktail scene, acclaimed Indonesian bartenders, and Best bars in Asia !

Through his social media account (instagram: @sip_sensei) he's able to showcase his skills in both mixing drinks, and photography.

Ardkia Dwitama a.k.a Uwi was born into a food family. His dad Iwan Tjandra was a successful restauranteur, and an influential figure in Indonesian Culinary World. 

Being exposed to food since a young age has shaped him to become a dedicated chef / businessman. We discussed his journey from growing up, taking two internships at once, to setting up an now iconic restaurant, and learning his family business.

For years, the best restaurant in Asia is located in Bangkok, Thailand. Gaggan had been one of the most influential restaurant in Asia since been named 'Asia's Best Restaurant' in 2015, 2016, 2017, and 2018.

Vivia Natalia is one of Gaggan's pastry chef. She is one of two Indonesian working there, the other is the Head Chef. Five years ago, she's just started to learn cooking in SMK Santa Maria, now she's in one of the best restaurant in the world.
