Para mí es de gran valor el poder compartir esos frutos de la creatividad que las vivencias me han hecho acumular durante dècadas y encuentro ahora en nuestra red el vehículo para hacerlo llegar a un público entendido y conocedor que ha sabido valorar profundamente mis canciones, algo que agradezco de corazón.

La canción que hoy comparto con ustedes lleva por título "Igual que el tiempo", y la compuse en 1994 - siglo pasado - a una dama muy especial, una geisha, podríamos decir. Es un tema de una concepción erótica que plantea un acto amatorio. Como todo poeta, uno en su vida, antes del martrimonio, tuvo aventuras. En este caso fue con una geisha del vecino país y entre los fragores del amor y hoteles hubo intercambios intelectuales de lecturas de libros y como en aquella època estaba [Ricardo Arjona en la cùspide de su carrera con el tema "Te conozco"](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=x71_gzr95iE) - muy sonado - fueron la mezcla idónea que dio origen a este tema "Igual que el tiempo". Un gran saludo a esta bella comunidad de mùsicos. Què hermoso es trabajar con mùsica, codearse con mùsicos, hablar con la música.

Hoy participo en esta sesión de Hive Music Festival con una canción original que compuse en la década de los 90. Despuiés de leer en dos tomos completos la magna obra de Don Miguel de Cervantes Saavedra "Don Quijote de la Mancha" me sentí inspirado para expresar musicalmente parte del bagaje emotivo que creó en mí la lectura de tal obra, respetando, por supuesto, el lenguaje en que fue concebida la misma. Usando enclíticos, por ejemplo, "aposéntase", impaciéntase", es decir, un pequeño resumen a una gran obra pero hecho canción.

Saludos a esta magnífica comunidad de Vibes que se integran para realizar este concurso que está en vías de ser el màs prominente de la web.

Por primera vez participo y esto me llena de alegría y emoción, porque aunque sea de manera virtual, se que estaré compartiendo con excelentes músicos de todas partes del mundo y de todos los niveles, ya que acá se manifiestan desde los que están dando sus pasos primeros hasta los ya profesionales.

Siendo la temàtica esta semana larga de Vibes que es la No. 29 la música de los 90 o inspirada en la misma, les traigo una canción original, letra y música de mi autoría y composición, se trata de "Mujer de los 40 instintos", que compuse en aquella maravillosa década de oro de la música. Un poco inspirado en el tema "Mujer de las 4 décadas" del gran Ricardo Arjona y - sobre todo - enraizada en una relación de 30 - 40 que viví ardientemente en esa época. Por supuesto, no es necesario aclarar que el de los 30 era yo y los 40 eran de la dama en cuestión.

Sin ir más lejos en detalles les puedo decir que el nuestro fue un tórrido romance que parecía ser una mezcla de "Nueve semanas y media" y "El último tango en París". De esa relación me quedó un ardiente recuerdo y esta canción que comparto hoy con ustedes.

Estimada comunidad de músicos, instrumentistas, compositores y amantes de la música en general. En esta semana 251 de Hive Open Mic, la temàtica es "High School" (Liceo o Secundaria). Por ello les traigo este tema que conozco desde mi niñez, cuando uno en los radios del hogar - que eran amplitud modulada - mi madre, de espíritu romántico, colocaba una emisora llanada "La Voz de la Victoria", desde la cual se difundía este tipo de melodías que llegaban al corazón y tocaban la fibra de los sentimientos.

La canción lleva por nombre "Luto en el alma" y es una composición original del talentoso Manny Delgado, quien era al fallecer presidente de SACVEN (Sociedad de Autores y Compositores de Venezuela), quien dio un importante respaldo a los hermanos Hoyer, de la pequeña localidad de Morón, ubicada en el estado Carabobo en Venezuela. Permitió a esta agrupación - que fue bautizada con el nombre de "Los Terrícolas" y que emulaba lo que hacían "Los Ángeles Negros" - el éxito tanto en Venezuela como en el resto de Sudamérica, también Centroamérica, Norteamérica y España.
