Nashville's dusty funkateers Magic In Threes return to RNT Reserve with a triptych of low-strung grooves, each complimented by a superlative remix. Chupa Cabra, a sweet soulful joint, is reimagined as a devilishly pulsating and funky burner by RNT mainstays @justsayfouk on their remix. Parisian @patchworks takes the 70s-cop-show funk of Work Tapes straight to Nigeria with a beautifully crafted highlife remix. Finally there's Come On Down, reminiscent of classic Donald Byrd in the Larry Mizell days, which is beefed up and readied for the dance floor by analog wizard @lay-far. A lovely package for listening, or bumping!

Los Angeles’ @danieltmusic joins the RNT fam with a stellar EP of homegrown and international flavor. Known for his crisp production work as half of Cosmic Kids and more recent solo outings on Chit Chat and Let’s Play House, on this 12” Dan also shows his talent for selecting and editing . From the corner-store funk of Hit the Streets, percussive tropical sway of All Day, to the frenetic bounce of Trinidad Trouble and beatdown soulful vibes of Penguin Vacation, this record covers continents in just 4-tracks!

The boys of summer are back! LA’s finest, RNT darlings https://soundcloud.com/poolsmusic are curating a mix series for our podcast channel this summer. For the first installment the duo has cooked up 2 hours of blissfully blunted beats, but look for some special guest selectors in episodes to come. Broadcasting straight from the deep end, with a coupla flamingo swimmies, a pink visor and a cocktail with an umbrella in it!

Munich duo COEO joins the RNT family with a pack of reworks destined for dance floor greatness! Heretofore known for deep house goodness on Let's Play House and Toy Tonics, the boys flex their edit muscles on these 4 tracks which range from the soulfully sublime 'Like It Is,' to the disco house fury of 'Long Night Ahead,' to the best damn Fela edit we've ever heard. Plus we've added a little 'skit' track called 'Honey' as an added digital bonus.

Mating Ritual Recordings chief @martinhayes returns to RNT and once again shows his knack for simple yet effective selections and slices. Leaning a bit more toward up-tempo material than his previous RNT EP, “Turn You On” does indeed burn relentlessly hot, while “Love Shine” cruises along, alternating between an infectious electric piano vamp and driving percussion. “Easy Come Easy Go” strikes an optimistic and orchestral tone, sending us blissfully into space, and then “Tiff” rounds out the EP with it’s slow and soulful lilt.

RNT is going back to the roots of their Reserve series with Rose Cutz 2, a pack of burners and heaters from @rose-records honchos @luvless and @m-ono. Each producer takes a side, delivering a little something for any time of night, from the uptempo stomp of Eins A Legge to the slow analog pulse of File Save As, plus special digital bonus track "Stretchin" by Luvless. A rose by any other name...is still a banging record!

As the head of Berlin’s eminently respected OYE Records, it’s no surprise Markus “https://soundcloud.com/delfonic” Lindner would come correct with the edit heat for his first outing on Razor-N-Tape. The record starts out smooth and summery with The Flow, a club-ready rework of an underground Jamaican disco classic, followed by the furious afro-boogie stomp of “SPF.” On the b-side an extended percussion jam builds ferociously and finally drops into a lovely lesser-known revamp of a killer disco anthem. Music is Love indeed!
