For April Fools' Day 2017, we flexed our creative muscles to come up with a profile of one of Corrie's most well-loved background characters: factory foreman Dirk. Over the course of three quarters of an hour, we led listeners down a merry path, recounting a completely fabricated tale of Dirk's life on the Street, stretching all the way from 1960 to the present day.
