July 1st marks the official date that the Robert Morris Colonials and the Purdue Fort Wayne Mastodons join the Horizon League - We caught up with Colonials head coach Andy Toole to discuss the transition into the league, the growth of his program, & what players should HL fans keep an eye on heading into year 1!

Wright State women's basketball assistant coaches Abby Jump & Kim Demmings joined Justin Kinner on this week's Reach The Horizon Podcast - Abby & Kim were teammates on the Raiders Horizon League Championship & NCAA Tournament team back in 2014 as players - Fast forward five years later and the two are teamed up once again at Wright State, but this time as coaches under Katrina Merriweather. Five years after helping lead the program to their first ever NCAA Tournament appearance, the two were a part of the programs second tournament appearance in the 2018-2019 season but this time as coaches.

The Horizon League Player of the Decade Norris Cole is this weeks guest on Reach The Horizon - Norris Cole shares his journey to Cleveland State and he describes the great relationship that he has with the program and current head coach Dennis Gates.

Norther Kentucky graduate Tyler Sharpe wrapped up his Norse career this past season by hoisting his second straight Horizon League Title trophy. Sharpe shares his career experience transferring to NKU from Louisville as a walk-on and earning a scholarship with the Norse. Although Sharpe's college athletics career may be over, he is still waiting to hear the decision from his appeal for an extra year of eligibility from the NCAA.

Matt Howard (Butler) shares memories from playing in Back-To-Back National Title Games with the Butler Bulldogs in 2010 & 2011. From his favorite Horizon League opponent to play on the road to walking out on to the floor of the Final Four and National Title Game, Matt Howard reveals all on Reach The Horizon.

This week's guest on Reach The Horizon is Cleveland State Men's Tennis Coach Brian Etzkin - Coach Etzkin has won is the reigning Horizon League Coach of the Year (2019) and has won the COY award four times. Coach Etzkin discussed his teams recent success and how the stoppage in play due to COVID-19 impacted them. Day-to-day communication, training, recruiting and more have all been impacted by this and Coach Etzkin explains how his program is fighting through.

Oakland Golden Grizzlies head men's basketball coach Greg Kampe is this weeks guest on Reach The Horizon - The guys discussed the way Kampe's coaching staff has had to adjust to recruiting due to the COVID-19 orders in place around the country. Kampe also shared his thoughts on the NCAA's potential ruling on allowing college athletes a 1-time transfer exemption.
