Billy and Jacob's visit makes Bella nervous. But, it turns out to be harmless. Almost. At school, Bella realises the sharp precipice at which her and Edward's relationship balanced. She anticipates the change that would come when she is alone -completely alone, for the first time- with Edward on Saturday.

The questions continue as they get to know each other better. Bella and Edward feel the electricity between them. Mike's jealousy rears. Another complication in the form of Billy Black enters BelWard's budding relationship.

Are they dating? That's what they're telling people at least! And he picked her up for school, so maybe! But the interrogation continues. It's the "getting to know you" phase and it's beautiful.

After Dinner, Edward drops Bella home. The hour long drive is made in 20 minutes by Edward's lunatic driving. The 20 minutes in the car is when all the walls are down, all inhibitions removed and they both answer things that were left unsaid till now.

Bella is off to Port Angeles with the girls. But she wanders off to look for a bookstore and encounters trouble. Edward -as always, makes it just in time. He saves her then whisks her off to dinner. The First Date!!

Bella ponders over what Jacob told her about the "cold ones". There are two sunny days in a row (much to Bella's delight) but she is unable to enjoy them with Edward and the Cullen's absence looming over her heart. The girls head out to Port Angeles to shop for the school dance.

Bella goes to First Beach with friends. She runs into Jacob Black who tells her "scary stories" about the "cold ones".
