Uros and I discuss the power of connection, connecting to others, We share stories about we have and need to connect with our fathers, and discuss why it is important to connect. We also share a few example of how we connect, and we reflect and agree that connecting with others is more important now that it has ever been
After a long absence, I have joined my very good friend Dr Theo Soutzos. The topic today is taking responsibility, which means putting your head above the parapet. It also means that you need strong communication skills to navigate your way around your political environment. However we all need to confirm to fit in within society. We look at it from a few different angles. I hope you enjoy our conversation.
This was the last episode I recorded with my good friend and mention Dr Soutzos live in the UK.
We discussed the journey we all go on, and how the pandemic really made the final penny drop for me - and made me realise what its about.
This podcast is shorter than normal, but I had a lovely conversation with my friend Theo, and I hope you enjoy it too.
The definition of career has always intrigued me. Is it old fashioned, is it being conditioned from our upbringing. Theo and I discuss what we think it means, what it evokes, and leading us to what we think is really important.
How many of us take a step back on a regular basis in our daily lives and at work?
This episode was inspired by a whatsapp conversation I had with Uros the other day, about regaining the right perspective and keeping things simple.
Sometime we are a slave to our daily routine, and sometimes taking a step back can make a real difference
This was a rare episode with my two friends Dr Soutzos and Andy. This was a simultaneous podcast with Reasons For Now. We looked at the last year to see if any lessons had been learnt a year on. And as often happens when the 3 of us are together, we went off on a few interesting tangents. This was recorded in our favourite coffee bar in Ealing, West London.
Dr Theo Soutzos and I discussed what Identity really is, what are the symptoms and consequences of not having an identity, and how you can find and work on your identity. Its always interesting to talk to Dr Soutzos because of his past experience has a top psychiatric, as well as being a good friend.
A few weeks ago my dog died. I held him in my arms a few minutes after he passed away. From one minute to the next I started crying infront of my two kids and my wife. This made me think about men showing vulnrability today - in the 21st century. I had the pleasure of having this conversation not only with my regular guest Theo ( Dr Soutzos), but also with our friend Andy. We discussed if men of my age are showing their vulnerable side, and is it a strength or weakness. As usual we digressed a little, but again we really enjoyed our conversation together - I hope you do too.
It was an honor to have an interesting conversation with my regular guest, Dr The Soutzos. We did a A week ago the UK home secretary - a senior minister in the UK Government was considering changing the Uk maritime law, to force the immigrants sailing from France to the Uk to be forced to return back to France. It seems that this was not thought through at all, and has strained diplomatic relations between the UK and France. We attempted to define what diplomacy is, and why it is important in all aspects of life - on an international level down to societal level.
The other day I met a successful and happy business man. It made me ask the question; What is success? How do you define success? Dr Soutzos and I tried to define success. There is the modern day definition, our take on the definition, as well as looking back in history to help us define success. Our discussion also digressed and covered happiness and identity. I hope you enjoy it us much as we enjoyed recording it.
