April 08, 2021"Short and Sweet" - Poetry by Vaishnavi GuptaHello everyone! Welcome back!! Today's episode is a poem I wrote when I wasn't even 18 years old. I knew nothing about the world then. I have changed and grown so much since then! I knew nothing about myself. The title is an irony to the content because the content is not very short. But the way I recite this poem, the length of this recording is short! Anyways! I hope you enjoy this episode and I hope you had a good time this week. Lockdown is hard, but let's stay at home in solidarity? Good! See you Thursday! I mean you'll hear me Thursday! Okay let's work it out however this works out!...more4minPlay
April 08, 2021"The Painting" - Poetry by Vaishnavi GuptaWelcome back people! This episode of my podcast is about personality and how to maintain it constantly. I have always been an aware person. Even though I made some bad choices and let and control me, I know exactly how it portrayed me. I have been stubborn for far too long. Today's poem was work by me when I was 17 years old. I was on a spiritual path then. And today, I feel I'm on a spiritual path still. But it feels good to make content for people in these difficult times. I hope people find their better selves during this isolating time! And I feel sorry for anyone who is out there going through this deadly disease alone. My thoughts are with you!...more4minPlay

April 08, 2021"THE GOLDEN CLOUDS" - POETRY BY VAISHNAVI GUPTAHello everyone! Today's episode is about a poem that changed the way I've looked at my life for so long. Who needs people when you have so many other things. Things to think about, overthink about and play with. I love the play of words. I'm a big fan of puns. Needless to say, today's episode is not about puns or word play. It's about the poem that I wrote when I was feeling alone. Sometimes being surrounded by family is not enough. Everyone needs someone that they can talk about family problems. Or even regular relationship issues. But no one, I repeat, no one can help you the way you can help yourself. So, I have this small teddy bear which was my first you ever. I've felt more comfort with it than any other thing or person. Not even my mother. So whenever I feel like I'm going to go off the deep end, I look for it. And whenever it is gone, I hide it someplace so that next time I can find it. When we're having panic and anxiety attacks, we just forget our good memories. So it's difficult to locate that comfort object. And when were searching for the comfort object, we shift our thoughts to that object. I have realised one thing. Never be emotionally dependent on one single person. They feel too much burdened and eventually leave if things get worse. Anyway! Enjoy this episode and do not forget to share it with people who lack hope....more5minPlay

June 11, 2020Episode 1: My ramblings as I sit on my terrace.Hey guys!!! I'm so glad to have everyone listen to this. There are so many difficult times in life. I started a podcast when lockdown first started and I felt pretty great about it. I felt proud to be strong and proud to be a creator at a platform. In this world nothing is constant and so, none of my plans to keep doing what I did were constant. Consistency is the key to being successful, so here's me trying to be successful for the second time. In this first episode of season two on anchor, I talk about how interesting it is to sit all alone with your thoughts, how interesting our thoughts are and how I feel when I am looking at the clouds above while experiencing wind in my legs. HAVE FUN LISTENING TO IT. LIKE SHARE SUBSCRIBE, I guess?...more25minPlay
