The “MI Right To Reproductive Freedom” petition is being circulated under several different petition names that all sound quite positive and fluffy.

PLEASE be sure to get the word out that people MUST read what they sign! The small font in the bottom left corner of the petition will tell people what the petition ACTUALLY is. NEVER SIGN WITHOUT READING WHAT IT IS YOU ARE SIGNING APPROVAL OF!

The Supreme Court ruled that abortion should not have been made a FEDERAL matter, where the federal government makes a blanket law over all states in the U.S.. What the ruling DID do was to now allow each state to have the power to determine those decisions and laws for themselves.

Currently, MI has a “trigger law” in place since 1931, that states that abortion is prohibited UNLESS the mother is in danger of dying. For all those who have said that they are Pro-Abortion because they believe that women’s lives shouldn’t be put at risk for the sake of a baby that is a result of an unplanned pregnancy….MI already has that clause.
