I'm back baby!!!
I got to chat with Susannah Glenn about her debut novel Between Husbands and Wives back in July I am sorry to say. I have just been so busy and distracted it has taken me way too long to edit this conversation, but here it is and whooo hooo I say. Between Husbands and Wives is a page turner of a domestic thriller that I was on the edge of my seat for the whole time..
I hope you love the chat, and once you have read Between Husbands and Wives let me know so we can chat themes and twists- it was so hard keeping away from those here!!!

This was an honour of a chat; I got to learn more about the fantastic charity that is Chapters for Change. I got to learn more about what they do and how they support the people of Cambodia at a grass roots level to read and have real access to books. I also got to chat spinning plates with Danielle Binks! I am SO excited for Six Summers of Tash and Leopold, it completely sounds like it will be perfection!
Are you doing the Chapters for Change readathon this month?

I had an absolute ball chatting with author Maya Linnell recently. I got to ask all about her latest novel Wallaby Lane; the country shows, community radio and policing, various aspects of mental health..not to mention gorgeous joeys and foul mouthed galas..such an honour!

I was absolutely captivated by this novel, the mystery, the diving, the letters...I loved the modern day timeline just as much as I did the 1920s and could not turn the pages fast enough.
I did spend considerable time just gushing about hoe much I loved it, I have cut a lot of that out, and I also must apologise again for not hitting record sooner, the reason why it sounds like I just launched in is because I was gushing too much and failed to hit record..such a rookie mistake that I have no excuse for, please forgive me x

I LOVED The Story Thief, I thought it was just such an all encompassing coming of age Australian novel. I loved Lillian and the opportunity to watch her grow and develop, I loved seeing Sydney and Australia grown and develop through the late 1800s and early to mid 1900s; I loved absolutely everything about this story and you can imagine how high I squealed when I got the opportunity to chat with Kyra Geddes. Such a wonderful experience, I loved every second!

Such a treat to chat with Jane Tara. I loved Tilda is Visible and think it is one for everyone. I think at one point or another we have all felt like were slowly becoming invisible, and this novel really explores the adventure of becoming visible again!
It is our April Wondering Women Read book and I can't wait to chat about it on Monday.

This is my first post new job podcast, I am back baby!!!!! And what a way to come back! I got to chat with bestselling author Fiona Lowe!!! What a treat!!!! The Accident is an incredible book, I was so lucky to read an early copy and super lucky to chat with Fiona about it and goodness, women choosing not to have children, women desperately wanting children, grief and weddings..we cover a lot!!! Hope you find it interesting and spoiler free; I am super conscious of the fact you may not have had a chance to read The Accident yet! But you will be wanting to bump it up after listening to Fiona! She is wonderful!
I also left our chat in at the end which was just chitchat, Fiona asked about my job and I thought I should leave it in there so I can apologise for wanting you to come back to my podcast even though I've completely been MIA for so long! I'm managing the Dymocks Bondi Junction store and it was a steeper learning curve than I was ready for, but that makes it even better and more rewarding to be back!!! I've got a few more chats to edit and get out which I look very much forward to doing next and there are so many fab authors I want to talk with now I can see the forest for the trees..please slot me back in to your bookish podcast rotation!
I also wanted to shout out to my friend Elysabeth who I mention in the chat; Toothless is a fantastic small business that I love love love and her creativity is next level, my nieces and nephews all have one of Elisabeth's tooth fairy pillows and we all love them so much!!!
