I loved this psychological thriller, I can't believe its a debut! So atmospheric, such believable characters...so twisty, so clever!

This was a novel that caught me by surprise; light and fun but weeks later I am still thinking about these people..OK characters that aren't actually alive, but they definitely feel real to me. I loved chatting with Lauren. Obviously Calendar Mums is no debut; I can't wait to dive into some of her other novels! Such a fun chat

I could not put this novel down! Clever, compulsive and SO much to chew on! Gosh it's a great time to be a reader!!! I loved the opportunity to chat with Rachel Paris, so much fun!

Dave is off camping so I am living the podcast dream! This is a chat I had last Sunday morning and here it is here edited and out! I LOVED this chat, I don't believe I asked a single question, it was just such a great conversation I am leaving it as is! What a novel! What an author! I loved it!!! 

For someone who doesn't think they love thrillers I love a lot of crime books, but these are all fabulous; atmospheric, great characters, unworkoutable plots...

There is something for everyone in this novel; part thriller, part romance, lots  women's stories..so much historical fiction..I loved every single page, every character and everything about it! 

I loved my conversation with Madeleine, I can't believe I got to speak to her durning her busy launch week! Such a treat!

This is a longer episode, but if you could see all the chitchatI cut out! I just couldn't tear myself away from Laura McCluskey, I LOVED The Wolf Tree and there is just so much to chat over with this novel!! 

I don't think there are any spoilers, I'm so sorry if I have let anything slip through, let me know once you have finished The Wolf Tree; there is SO much to chat about with that ending!!!!

I couldn't have loved The Jam Maker more; wonderful story that I knew nothing at all about; for someone who made money with a scones I can't believe how little interest I had in jam! I loved getting to know every single character in this novel. Hearing more women's stories, and about lives that have fallen through the cracks is one of my favourite reading experiences..I could not have loved this one more. 

To get to chat (and you had better believe I edited out so much chitchat!!) with Mary-Lou Stephens was the best; so generous and thoughtful..I just had the best time..and cannot wait for her next novel, it sounds fantastic!!!!

Jenny Pattrick is a new author to me, she is a best selling New Zealand known for her historical fiction..you can imagine I have finished recording with a more novels for my TBR. I loved Sea Change, it is a contemporary novel which really looks to what a community would do if they were to become isolated...turns out you really need a plumber!!! I loved this book, it was so engrossing and the chat I got to have with Jenny was fantastic (although I had to edit it twice and I am so sorry if the sound quality is still bad, I did my best, I blame her cute headset..)

Gosh I had to pinch myself black and blue that I got to chat with Dervla McTiernan, I love her! I absolutely LOVE Cormac Reilly and I was so excited to meet up with him, even if you haven't read the others yet (but why wouldn't you have) he's the best!

When late to the party means you get to smash 2 great reads is that even abad thing? I LOVED my time in Sherlock Tomes, being a bookshop detective...these are so my type of thriller- tea and cake and death! What a crime to solve!
