What. A. Day. The RTG Invitational never disappoints! The 3rd Annual event (and first that we've actually invited someone) is in the books. Mike takes down the title, but it was a great day overall -- birdies, bogey, quads across the card, High Noons and Hooeys, the unveiling of a new trophy, and a mystery Swag box. It's here, a tradition... well probably like most golf traditions out there...the 3rd Annual RTG Invitational. Billed as one of the hardest tee times to get, the RTG Invitational features a one-round net medal play event between Mike, Jordan, and Kyle, with the winner taking home a slew of riches. Listener Dan rounds out the foursome this year for an event that has not failed to disappoint with late hole drama and heartbreak. Coming Sunday 9/29.

No doubt, just like Jay Monahan, RTG is limping to the PGA Tour finish. After missing a few pods and returning for the BMW, it's only fitting that the Tour Championship preview is a solo pod with host Mike, 2024 edition. It may not be the best thing you listen to all week, but it's probably not the worst. And it comes with a reveal of his RTG Listener League lineup at the end.

If you ain't first, you're last. True in so many forms of competition, including golf "survivor" leagues. It was a fun run in the Sandman Survivor Reloaded league, but the RTG guys bust on Tom Kim after getting to the final 5 (out of 1000+!). Those of us with young kids dread the future middle and high school parent-kid conversations, but when climate change protests breakout on the 18th green at a PGA Tour even, that's a little easier to handle. An otherwise blase Signature Event got a little nuts with a dramatic finish interrupted by an even more dramatic fan interruption.
