Reading the Green: Golf DFS Preview Show

RTG is back for the annual celebration of American golf -- the US Open at Oakmont. The guys recap the last month in professional golf, a look back at the RTG trip to the 2024 US Open at Pinehurst, and a full betting and fantasy golf preview for this year's event.

Oh, and Jordan goes full sacrilege on his beer selection.

RTG is back for another major golf preview in 2025, this time the PGA Championship at Quail Hollow. Say what you want about the event and the venue (and the guys definitely say a lot of things), the best players are playing this week, so time to get those bets in. Plus a recap of the last 5 weeks in professional golf AND Jordan's huge golf trip overseas.

Is this the "best week of the year"?? There really is nothing like Masters Week for golf fans. Whether your season is just starting or you play golf year round, the second week of April annually signals that the real golf season has officially started. In its April episode, RTG breaks down the The Masters, the first major of the professional golf season, mixing in course details, history, storylines, and of course, a DFS preview. No matter how much you have on the line this week, there no place better to be than the sofa on Sunday afternoon (other than maybe on the grounds!)

Live! From Office Golf! It's Reading the Green! Finally got around to a proper pod, and this time we set up shop at Office Golf in Edina, MN. Best part about it was the hour+ sim sesh right before recording, which saw Jordan and Kyle take on Mike and special guest Austin in a Ryder Cup re-enactment... foursomes at Marco Simone. The guys run down the last month in professional golf, get an early look at the Masters, then deep dive the First Major, the Players Championship.

RTG is back for its second pod of the year, which coincidentally is ALSO a Torrey Pines preview pod. The PGA Tour is back to La Jolla just 4 weeks later for the relocated Genesis Invitational. Nothing wrong with seeing great golfers on a hard, long, iconic golf course. Let's just hope we can keep the balls on the greens. Plus, the guys recap the last few weeks in pro golf, TGL, the official end of the football season.

Welcome to RTG 2025. First of all, a huge thank you to our listeners that have been with us for over 3 seasons and 100+ episodes. And while we know that a weekly show often becomes part of your routine, we're mixing it up this year and moving to a monthly episode. Still the same amount of fantasy golf and betting talk mixed with plently of other nonsense, just focused on the marquee events. Best of luck in your golf endeavors this year!

In this final preview episode of the 2024 PGA Tour season, Mike and Kyle say goodbye to prognosticating for the year, and for that matter, to the PGA Tour as we know it. The guys recap the drastic changes upending PGA Tour eligibility, plus preview the last event of the season, the Good Ol Boys Championship aka the RSM Classic.

There's some golf talk this time of year. And some NFL. Some baseball. And of course some hockey, especially on a night when something rarer than a perfect game happens. Jordan, Kyle, and Mike are all together on this weeks episode, and it's a bit circuitous to get to the Shriners preview, but they get there! Plus Kyle recaps his roller coaster performance at the big Bro Cup.

Golf fans haven't seen two quality tournaments so close together since the Sanderson Farms and the Black Desert Champio....ahem... the RTG Invitational and the Bro Cup! Kyle takes listeners through the 2nd annual Bro Cup, another great fall golf installment, while Mike relays big news on the personal golf front. And then yes, the first ever Black Desert Championship gets rolling this week on the PGA Tour in the great state of Utah.

What. A. Day. The RTG Invitational never disappoints! The 3rd Annual event (and first that we've actually invited someone) is in the books. Mike takes down the title, but it was a great day overall -- birdies, bogey, quads across the card, High Noons and Hooeys, the unveiling of a new trophy, and a mystery Swag box. The guys don't even find time in the pod to recap the President's Cup!
