In this weeks episode I offer some words of wisdom for business owners that are either looking for a workspace or looking to move to a new one.  A lot of times renting a workspace is attractive because of the lower cost of entry and not having to deal with a bank, but there are so many benefits to owning your building.  But! Before you go out and buy your building you need to know a few things first!

This episode explains how setting up a separate LLC or Corporation is a critical first step to buying a building for your business.  Not only for liability protection but also for tax savings and strategic planning.

2019 Is Here!

As we begin the New Year we're surrounded by people that are announcing their New Years Resolutions.  What's your new years resolution?  Are you going to lose weight? Finally quit that awful job that you hate?  

Every year we promise ourselves a resolution to better our lives, but by February we have lost interest and don't think about them again until the following January.

New Years is a great time for reflection and thought.  What have we done right, what have we done wrong?  How can we grow and better ourselves?  In this episode I give my thoughts on New Years Resolutions and why they're bull shit.  I also try to explain what you can do so that you can actually make a difference in your life for 2019.

Our fourth episode of Real Entrepreneurship with Jerry Kenna is now live.  In this episode I sit down with Gerald Irwin III, a real estate agent from the Pittsburgh area that is getting it done in style.  Gerry works with the Realty One Real Estate Brokerage and has created a team of agents that are taking the Pittsburgh Real Estate market by storm.

During this episode Gerry and I discuss how he got started as a real estate agent, how he uses social media marketing to keep in touch with his network, and how and why he got involved in luxury listings of a million dollars and higher.  We also talk about his time with Crypto currency, family, and how the hustle of entrepreneurship is not for the weak minded or the lazy, but for those of us that love the process and the grind as much (if not more) than the success.

I really enjoyed my time sitting down with Gerry.

Episode 3 - Brian Marra

In this episode I sit down with Brian Marra.

Brian Marra is the definition of an entrepreneur.  Working for someone else has never been an option for Brian and he's always hungry for more.  Brian spent several years owning and operating several cellular phone stores and many other businesses.  He's now the CEO and Founder of Marra Enterprises, Inc. which owns Un-Flood-It, a water restoration company based in the Pittsburgh area and NicAnt, LLC a small real estate investment company.

Un-Flood-It specializes in water restoration and mold remediation.  He felt that the way to provide the highest level of service in the restoration industry was to solely focus and specialize in water related issues.  

During our chat we discuss how entrepreneurship is in your blood, how to embrace the talents that your kids are born with, how business owners risk it all to accomplish our dreams, and much more.

On episode 2 of Real Entrepreneurship I sit down with serial entrepreneur and Marine, Josh Parise.  

We discuss Josh's path from Pittsburgh to California and back, twice, his time in the Marine Corp and everything else he's accomplished in 42 short years.

Welcome to the very first episode of Real Entrepreneurship with Jerry Kenna.  In this episode we interview Real Estate Investor, Hugh Rumbaugh.

During this episode we discuss getting into the real estate world, what it really takes to make it in business, and how it's not always glamourous.

We also discuss the education crisis in America and how to keep a reasonable work life balance when hustling as an entrepreneur.

Hugh Rumbaugh is a real estate investor in the Pittsburgh area that focuses on both renovating and reselling homes as well as long term rental investments.  He's an interesting guy that's been around and see a lot.  Definitely worth the time to listen.

Being this is our first ever podcast, we are a little disappointed with the audio quality, but fear not because we upgraded our microphones for episode 2 so it turned out much better!
