Put money aside for taxes if they aren’t deducted from your paycheck. 3. Have a budget and track everything.  4. Stop renting and start planning to buy so you can get out of the rental treadmill that isn’t going anywhere. 5. Put your finances in order. 6. Have goals. Attainable goals. 7. If you do have a down payment for a home, but not enough for a full cash purchase, get your mortgage commitment and appraisal done quickly, especially on the offer. 8. In the ultra-competitive seller’s market, how do you make your offer get noticed?   

In today’s episode of Real Estate Finder Podcast, Matthew runs down the Top 10 ways to make your buyer’s offer more appealing in a seller’s market. 

  What are sellers looking for? Many sellers are asking for “highest and best” on the MLS. When submitting your highest and best offer, consider getting a bit creative with the terms.    In Palm Beach County, the seller usually pays for the title and closing. However if a buyer wants to pay, they certainly can. Wouldn’t you want to choose who your title company is? In this scenario, offer to pay and you get to choose who to use. It’s win/win AND it might offset the purchase price (and save you in tax money later!) which would be beneficial to both parties.    What are your tricks and ideas about getting your offer accepted?
