Why do realtors hate submitting low ball offers?

Genuine question--why do realtors hate submitting low ball offers for their clients? Is 10% below asking a low ball offer if it's been on the market for 3 months? Does it affect the realtor's reputation at all? It's the buyers submitting the offer, so I'm not sure why realtors hate it?
