This week in Leafs news we bring out our dead as part of our weekly injury updates, discuss the addition of Alex Galchenyuk, and weep over how damn nice of a person Jack Campbell is.

We venture out of the North division to remind everyone that Covid does in fact exist, revisit the classic rivalry that is the NHL vs the sun, and watch as Liz almost cries on air over Sidney Crosby's career.

Welcome to one of our most chaotic episodes to date. Personally, I blame all that love in the air … or maybe the fact Liz and our wonderful guest, Ruby, were heavily caffeinated.

With less "real" news this week, we focus our attention on John Tavares becoming the hockey equivalent of an Avon lady, the weird and wacky games of the week, and the importance of mullets.

Finally, in the spirit of the season, we hand out some valentines to NHLers across the league. Our sincerest apologies to Michael Hutchinson, you don't deserve this.

Apparently we can't have nice things, go figure.

We begin this week mourning the loss of our beloved father Wayne. I know we ask this all the time, but are we cursed? From there we move onto other topics like how covid filled the US divisions are, the suspension of the NWHL season, and frankly, the most important news of the week: does Mitch Marner have a kitten?

Hold your loved ones close, the Leafs are dropping like flies.

This week we express regret about the whole blood sacrifice thing … did we accidentally call for Campbell's demise? We laugh at DeAngelo getting put on waivers, yell about Barstool continuing to exist, and cry with laughter over Tkachuk's temper tantrum.
