In great trials of affliction the people of Corinth took up a concern for the Jerusalem church: IICorithian chapter 1 explains their ability to give; verse 2 in great trials their ability to do more grew because of their suffer (more than anything, they were willing, which is key).

Titus spearheaded this collection for the church going through persecution. Paul extends the grace of giving  by urging the Corinthian church to continue that effort. He recognized the qualities of their character: the faith they showed, the speaking ability, and their possessions; they had a unique way of reasoning and acting accordingly.

Exodus 33:1 Moses moving forward with a hard task to lead a rebellious and disobedient people.

Moses contending for his faith; he wrestled and fleeced God to confirm ownership of his decision to go up from their Current position. He cried out for more grace for clarity (when Zion travailed she brought forth fruit, Isaiah 66:8 says).

America’s Founding Fathers built this nation on strong Christian principles. Let’s continue praying that our leaders seek God’s wisdom and uphold those foundations with integrity and faith.

Also, in lieu of the recent tragedies remind us how vital our responses are when it dealing with other people. The shooting of a 41-year-old woman by a 22-year-old female simply because she said to the young woman, "you could say thank you..." her comments caused her to lose her life! Two days prior to this,  an Uber driver and a teen—show how quickly anger can turn deadly. People are on edge like never before.  

 We must model respect, patience, and godly self-control. Our response shapes the outcome. God help us to reflect Christ in every situation.

 The first thing we have to ask is, what is the soul? We know that your soul is your substance. Your soul comprises your mind, your will, your emotions. Your soul is the seat of your intelligence, your consciousness, and your reason. It houses your mind and individuality.

Your body gives you the ability to be world-conscious. Your spirit gives you the ability to be God-conscious. But your soul gives you the ability to be self-conscious. 

 Your soul is the essence of who you are.

Your soul is the seat of your intentions, your conscience, and your choices. Your soul governs your life. Whenever God speaks about the soul, he is talking about you. If you lose your soul, you lose yourself; the Bible says in James 1, verse 21: “Receive with meekness the implanted word, which is able to save your soul.

The word is how the mind, will and emotions are saved. The human spirit is the part of you that is born again; the body will return to the dirt!

In part one, the subject of Leviathan covered several areas of our human nature. In Psalms 104:26, there goes the ships, representing the wayfaring Christian person; this is a type-in-shadow of life. Pride is often times undetected. Isa. 27:1, in that day, the Lord with his sword will punish the serpent and he will be slain in the sea. God is the only one who can deal with the spirit of Pride.

Pride in a person is hard to remove (Psalms 10:10). Listen and learn how to detect when pride is operating.

In Jesus we have only one right and that is to be victorious. If you are not careful you will become what you have experienced; God never intended for you to live in the past. It is about who you are on the inside, no longer about what happened to you. 

Change your future by not predicting your future by looking at your past. Step into your future by what you by what you do now. 

You will always live out what you believe. As a man think in his heart so is he.

An army of sheep lead by a lion can defeat an army of lions lead by a sheep. 

In this lesson, we will see his faith when he gave the greenest portion of land to his nephew Lot. Here are a few points to take from this lessons: free and discontent will cause you to lose what you have.

Be prepared for God to use you in  crises to assist others.

Believers must not be influenced by values that don't line up with Gods word.

What does faith look like? Abraham demonstrates faith through his journey to three locations telling a story by naming each location to describe a place in his life at each season.

In the lesson, we see the first location is found in Genesis 2:6–8, when Abraham offers a sacrifice at the "great tree of Moreh" in Shechem. It means the place of strength.

He later moved to Bethel, which means the house of worship, the place where God lived. After that he went to Ai, the place of ruins, so he lived between worship and destruction. He eventually settled in Bethel, the place where God dwelt. 

Genesis 12:6 the place where he is taught knowledge.

Living a victorious Christian life will come from Gods' empowerment, that is, being filled with the baptism of the Holy Ghost. There are many who confess Jesus as Lord but their lives don't reflect Christ likeness, which is the meaning of the word Christian.

People are saying, "Jesus" and ten minutes later they are cursing and swearing. the Bible says, "Doth a fountain send forth at the same place sweet water and bitter?Can the fig tree, my brethren, bear olive berries? either a vine, figs? so can no fountain both yield salt water and fresh."  James 4:10-12.

Successful Christian living isn't just money. Being careful about what comes out of our mouths is what will make or break you as a believer. Here we can read a verse that clarifies what I am saying: In the King James Version of the Bible, Matthew 15:18 says, "But those things which proceed out of the mouth come forth from the heart; and they defile the man".   

As believers, we wanna live successful in our christianly, we wanna demonstrate what being a true Christian looks like. Pause and think about that.
