Work expands to fill the period of time available for its completion.
Have you ever heard this statement?
It was made in 1955, by Cyril Northcote Parkinson, a famous British historian and author.
It’s basically the “LAW” that explains why you can’t get anything done.
Parkinson’s Law doesn’t apply to just tasks and time management, it applies to everything. It could be the solution you need to adding efficiency into your life.
It’s a solution that sets limits and constraints into your life.
The human mind and body adapt quickly. Remove the buffers and you’ll find yourself performing at a higher level.
The biggest Takeaway from Parkinson’s Law is that restrictions or as I like to call it “discipline” can actually create freedom.
Let’s talk about it.
