The Gospel of Christ is the greatest news in the world, but it comes wrapped in the agony of the cross. The reality of the cross is offensive to those who are lost in their sin. But, the Gospel cannot be preached without it.

Mankind has an internal and often self-proclaimed need to attempt to redeem himself from sin. The desire to be liberated from guilt and shame is so strong that man will stop at nothing to earn what only Christ can give.

Mankind has a need for redemption. Man was not always in a fallen state, but in disobedience towards God, Adam and Eve fell into sin. And, this sinfulness was transmitted to the human race.

The unity of the Trinity can be described as one Father, times one Son, times one Spirit, which equals one God - just as a triangle is made up of three identical sides. They are equal, and yet maintain their own identity.

God appeared in the bodily form of Christ. This is a great mystery that was revealed to us in His word. There is one God, yet, He relates to us in three persons, the Father, Son and Holy Spirit.

God is the designer and the sustainer of life. And Christ, being the exact likeness of God, existed before creation. Therefore, it is Christ’s power that sustains us and holds everything together.

In examining the physical evidence of the past, we are living in an ever expanding universe. Our world has a point of origin, perfectly designed, and specifically useful.

Technology, with all of its advancements in science, further testifies that God, and not evolution, created the heavens and the earth. There is an intelligent, functional, and meaningful purpose to creation.

The way Jesus spoke brought an assurance to the soul. He preached to the hearts and minds of man, unlocking the Good News of the Gospel. But, His evangelism was not always done with words, but also with His lifestyle.

Jesus spoke as one having authority. When Jesus taught, He exploded with vitality. He made the Old Testament come alive with whisperings of obedience towards God. Jesus’s teachings painted a picture that graphically presented the truth of God’s Word.
