Kendra Stretch is one of the most recognizable names in Realty on PEI. In my frequent discussions with people working in the real estate business, Kendra’s name keeps coming up and people rave about her character and success as a realtor.
Since 2010, Kendra has been working with Century 21 Colonial Real Estate Inc. and has earned endorsements for her work from first-time home buyers to condos, to new home sales, listings, and more.
In a recent conversation with Steven Barber, he told me he would call Kendra and ask her to be on this show and I quote barber saying “because she is a great person, she used to sell furniture at the Stratford Home Hardware back when they had a furniture department… she was the furniture salesperson upstairs… I would go there just to hear her speak because she is such a nice person and I think she portrays that in real estate too because she really cares.”

In this episode, we talk with Greg MacDougall of Provincial Realty. We discuss hurricane Fiona, and interest rates, and dive into the world of new housing subdivisions - discussing the Hidden Valley subdivision in Charlottetown. We get a chance to share some stories that just felt so wholesome and positive and brought me back to my childhood here on PEI.
It really left me feeling good as well as grateful to have the chance to learn from someone who brings so much experience.

In this episode, we talk with Aaron von Cheff of Avo Mortgage. It was the first-ever recording session for the podcast and it took place not long after I got my power back after two weeks of darkness from hurricane Fiona.
Aaron did a great job of highlighting some of the craziness that was going on behind the scenes to make all these buying and selling transactions take place - particularly on the mortgage front. Since Aaron and his team are working on mortgages all the time, I took the opportunity to get his thoughts on where interest rates are going as well as to learn a little bit more about where that magical mortgage money comes from.

In this episode, Steven Barber talks about protecting his clients from bad deals and we dive into some hilarious stories from his time as a restaurant and bar owner on PEI.
Barber and I used to work together a bit in the music business, but it was so nice to get to go deeper in conversation with him and I’m really looking forward to you hearing this one. It gets pretty spicy. Let’s just leave it at that.
