 I firmly believe that we all have a deep inner-wisdom, regardless of the number of followers we have to our name. The Band of Rebels series puts the mic in the hands of people you might not otherwise hear from while simultaneously connects you lovely listeners with other listeners whose wisdom might just be the remedy you needed.

On this episode, I talk with Lee Harris Intuitive Guide, Musician, Artist, Channel to the Z’s, Space Holder, and all-around wonderful human being.

I started following Lee’s work when my mentor introduced me to his energy readings. I was very much in a dark night of the soul. Lee’s guidance and intuitive insight was a major source of support during a difficult time, and I know many would echo this sentiment.

I thoroughly enjoyed sitting and chatting with Lee. We dove into many of the topics he touches on in his new book Energy Speaks (which I am a huge advocate for) including his childhood and earlier years, channeling the Z’s, abundance and receiving, women and their rise, the current nature of the masculine and feminine energies, self-expression, letting go, fully stepping into our power, and much much more.

Lee is a wealth of information and wisdom and doing work in the world from a space of pure intention. I highly recommend checking out his work or at the very least tuning into his monthly energy updates as a place to start.

On this episode of the Real Rebel Podcast Audio Coffee edition, we talk about the expectations we place on ourselves and our journey through life. Often times we hear the narrative that after the fall comes the rise. Which is true. However, the trouble comes when we turn our attention to exactly when the f*ck we’re going to get out of this uncomfortable situation already! As opposed to surrendering to where we are.

The important thing to remember is that our path and our journey is completely different from anyone else’s. And although there will be similarities in patterns and universal truths, how it all plays out for each of us individually is entirely unique. So, the moral of this one? If you feel behind? You’re not. You’re right on time. And maybe the darkness has a little something more to teach you before you launch off in another direction.

This time we talked about a few different things, including (and of course) makeup and how the world of natural beauty products has shifted since they started, each of our relationships to beauty, the insecurities that pop up for all of us, the elitism that is present in the world of green beauty business, what they’ve learned in business this past year, and much more.

On this episode of the Real Rebel Podcast  Audio Coffee edition, we talk about death and rebirth. I actually recorded this one twice. The first time I forgot to press record, and I also hadn’t added the part about honoring the death process within us when change is asking us to step forward. 

Often times we can mistake the death of our old-self as a sign we’re failing or falling back into old ways of being. When in fact, sometimes, it is actually just the loud crescendo of a person we are letting go of.

On this episode, I talk with Harry Baker a full-time poet and the youngest Poetry Grand Slam Champion ever in 2012. Harry has also given a number of TedTalks (ahem 6 to be exact), author of a book of poetry called The Sunshine Kid, maths and science wiz, and (in my opinion) future rapper.

I had an absolutely wonderful time sitting down and chatting with Harry. He has an excellent sense of humor and approaches his work from a very true and heartfelt place. We talk about a lot of things including certainty and uncertainty in career choices, creating for the joy of it, self-doubt, self-acceptance, the power of words and much much more.

We’re also very lucky in the fact that Harry agreed to perform three of his pieces on the podcast. The three pieces being The Scientist and the Bumble Bee, The Sunshine Kid, and 22. All of which I personally LOVE.
