  • The Magnificent Octopus
*JWST and the SEIVE: RSR hosts Fred Williams & Doug McBurney bask in the creationist friendly glow of more observed facts rolling in from the James West Space Telescope. The story was about galaxies looking far too young to be so old, and it’s driving the guardians of the Secular Evolution Inviolable Version of Everything (SEIVE) Bananas!  *Are Octopuses Aliens? Or are they just really, really cool? Here at RSR we go with the latter! Listen in to hear just how this magnificent creature reflects God’s engineering genius, and extraordinary creativity. But scientists holding to the SEIVE insist the extra-terrestrial origin comes not from the Creator God, but from…. wait for it…, wait for it… ALIENS!  *Octopus Design: Check out this fascinating and stunning TED talk on the incredible design and function of our amazing cephalopod!

  • The Thomas Seyfried Interview: Metabolic Cancer Part I
*Targeting Cancer: RSR hosts Fred Williams & Doug McBurney sit down with Boston College professor of biology Thomas Seyfried, MD, Ph.D., to hear about his decade long effort to change the research & treatment paradigms around cancer, (and quite possibly finding a cure). *The Breath of Life - Fallen: Dr. Seyfried contends that a corruption of the respiratory chain, (which we recently discussed on a couple of RSR broadcasts) via a mitochondrial pathway drives the growth of cancer. While the secular scientific community attributes respiratory fermentation to processes left over from billions of years ago, Fred interjects the creationist view of break-down, and “devolution.” *The Seyfried Line: Hear how Dr. Seyfried’s metabolic hypothesis has been applied via practiced cancer treatments to disrupt the fermentation pathway powering cancer’s growth through dietary “therapeutic ketosis”, (substituting ketones for glucose), effectively stopping the growth of cancer, and making it more vulnerable to the effects of EXISTING drugs!! *Paradigm Tectonics: William James famously said, ““First, you know, a new theory is attacked as absurd; then it is admitted to be true, but obvious and insignificant; finally it is seen to be so important that its adversaries claim that they themselves discovered it.”

  • 20 Reasons to Question Plate Tectonics Part II
*More Questions: Fred Williams and Doug McBurney dive in to part II of their review of Ellis Hughes’ “20 Reasons to Question Plate Tectonics.” *Varmints Work for Walt Brown: Could recent discoveries of mammalian fossils in the arctic be more evidence for Walt Brown’s Big Roll? *Subduction of a Theory: Professor Hughes notes with data and fabulous diagrams in the “20 Reasons” book that the physics of plate subduction simply does not work, and that’s just the beginning! Hear about the seamounts, Benioff Zones, spreading centers, missing sediment “scrape”, seismic tomography, Bullard’s Fit, and at least a dozen more. Get the book right here!     *Robert Brown at RMCF: Join us in welcoming one scientist who definitely worked for Walt Brown, (perhaps even taking out the trash more than once), professor Robert Brown, who will be speaking at the Rocky Mountain Creation Fellowship on February 10th 2023. Today's Resource: 20 Reasons to Question Plate Tectonics by Ellis Hughes This book traces the history of objections raised to the theory of plate tectonics, starting in the late 1960s. A surprising number of professional geologists and geophysicists raised legitimate concerns about the theory at the time it was proposed in the 1960s. Little was known about the ocean floor at that time. As more data has become available, it has become apparent that the theory has major issues. Twenty of these issues are described in detail in this book, and fifteen additional problems are mentioned briefly. The "insider scoop" is revealed, answering the question of why so many geologists support the theory if it has so many problems. Finally, the book gives summaries of four other theories that explain the earth's geological features without using plate tectonics.

  • 20 Reasons to Question Plate Tectonics
*Paradigms in Crisis: RSR host Fred Williams welcomes Doug McBurney begin a review of Ellis Hughes’ powerful new book detailing problems with Plate Tectonic Theory that rival the myriad problems with Big Bang Cosmology! *Early Galaxies: Find out some interesting news regarding Saturn’s moon, Enceladus, and how it might be best explained in light of Hydroplate Theory. *Concrete Evidence: Roman concrete turns out to be yet more evidence that ancient man was anything but “less evolved” that his modern counterparts. *Cassini and Enceladus for Walt Brown: Find out some interesting news regarding Saturn’s moon, Enceladus, and how it might be best explained in light of Hydroplate Theory. *Procrustes Lives: In his 1972 paper in the Journal of Geology Arthur Meyerhoff pointed out that the suddenly fashionable theory of plate tectonics was eerily reminiscent of the Procrustean Bed. *Groupthink: A Brief Outline & History: Professor Hughes gives a succinct description of Plate Tectonic theory and a history of just how a theory dismissed for centuries became the modern paradigm despite at least 20 reasons to question it! *Fred Williams at Berean Bible Church: Hear our own Fred Williams present the Hydroplate Theory at the Northeast Colorado Creation Group next Thursday, February 9th. *Robert Brown at RMCF: Join us in welcoming one scientist who definitely worked for Walt Brown, (perhaps even taking out the trash at some point), professor Robert Brown, who will be speaking at the Rocky Mountain Creation Fellowship on February 10th 2023. Catch it live, or streaming! *Reason #1: Listen in to hear where Dr. Hughes starts with the questioning of plate tectonics: the enormous disparity in divergent and convergent boundaries… Today's Resource: 20 Reasons to Question Plate Tectonics by Ellis Hughes This book traces the history of objections raised to the theory of plate tectonics, starting in the late 1960s. • Firefly Light Show & Dark Matter Refuted
*Fireflies Use Computer Science:  Fred & Ryan cover the latest Creation Magazine, including a story on how light-emitting fireflies synchronize a light show with each other. *Salamanders Regrow Their Brain: Fred is jealous that the Axolotl can regrow its brain and he can't. Salamanders not only regrow body parts; but throughout an axolotl's life it also generates new neurons. *James Webb Space Telescope Continues to Defy Secular Astronomy: Fred and Ryan discuss several recent science news articles from JWST discoveries that support the Biblical worldview. The article The James Webb Space Telescope Is Finding Too Many Early Galaxies from Sky & Telescope provides yet more evidence of a young universe with mature galaxies found near where the big bang, or the beginning of the universe, was alleged to take place. The news story Milky Way found to be too big for its 'cosmological wall' talks of how the Milky Way is one-in-a-million when compared to other galaxies.  *Dark Matter Refuted: The website cosmologystatement.org is alive and well. Their latest Jan 2023 Newsletter includes a peer-reviewed article questioning dark matter -  Has JWST already falsified dark-matter-driven galaxy formation? - “Galaxies formed in the ΛCDM paradigm are by more than an order of magnitude less massive in stars than the observed galaxy candidates”.   You can also visit RSR.'s own cosmologystatement.com for a link to one of our shows on this topic! • Quantum Entanglement Part II
*Entanglement, wives and cats: RSR host Fred Williams welcomes Doug McBurney to talk quantum entanglement, marriage and Schrödinger’s intentionally awful cat analogy. *Cybernetics: Norbert Weiner’s observation that information is neither matter nor energy is the elephant in the room for the materialist worldview. *What’s so Special: about Einstein’s theory of Special Relativity? Fred gives us both the official RSR position on, and an overview of the theory of Special Relativity. *Many Weirds: Even most secular scientists reject the attempt to account for quantum entanglement via the “many worlds” theory as incoherent. *Quantum Tunneling: Fred takes us through the superluminal phenomena of quantum tunneling in reality!

  • Quantum Entanglement Part I
*Lock-Down Damage Documented: Fred and Doug McBurney quote a study reported in sciencenews.org documenting the actual brain damage done by the lock-downs. *Disentangle: Fred steps out on a limb to warn those around him to get their kids out of the psychologically and spiritually damaging, perverted government schools! *Good News: The Plot 2nd Edition has been released! Get the book that has helped thousands better understand the details of the Bible, by better understanding the big picture. *Einstein’s Tangled Web: Find out some of the reasons the late great Bob Enyart spent so much time trying to understand and explain quantum theory, and in particular quantum entanglement. The quantum entanglement of particles, (their seeming ability to share or exchange information no matter how far apart they might be) has been proven in a number of different experiments. And there were even a few Nobel prizes awarded for confirming such “spooky” entanglement in 2022! *Big Stink: We are more and more convinced as time goes by that people who pretend to THINK BIG about the origin, and behavior of the universe apart from a creator think smaller and smaller all the (space)time. *Café Heaven: If you haven't heard our show asking "Do Dogs go to Heaven?'', get yourself some Door County Coffee, tee-up the show and let us know what you think after you listen!

  • Quantum Entanglement Interrupted
*The Diet Before Christmas: Fred and Doug McBurney were supposed to talk about quantum entanglement but got distracted with stories from Christmastime, Colorado Green Chili Cheeseburgers, and a few other topics… *Fred’s Big Modeling Gig: Get the inside skinny on Fred Williams' submission to the upcoming International Creationist Conference (ICC) about the positives and pitfalls of computer modeling in general, and creationist oriented geophysical modeling in particular. *Ehrlich Bombs Again: Hear the completely failed predictions of “The Population Bomb” Author Paul Ehrlich from about 50 years ago, and then wonder aloud with us why anyone at CBS News is still interested in promoting his predictions. *The Man in the Moon: Fred can’t have all the fun, so Nicole McBurney and her dad submitted a paper to the ICC offering a theory on why we see “the man in the moon”, and other lunar features. *HPT at ICR! Speaking of the inside skinny: a presentation was made in December to the top brass at the Institute for Creation Research, (Henry Morris’s granddaddy of them all!), by some of the world’s top Hydroplate theory advocates and it was warmly received. Join us in praying for all the godly efforts to glorify our creator, and explore the fascinating  and instructive events of creation and Noah’s Flood. *Boreholes, Models and HPT: Borehole modelling predictions versus borehole reality from Ellis Hughes' new book "20 Reasons to Questions Plate Tectonics" and why it’s anything but boring for HPT enthusiasts!

  • Harvard Scientist Dr Nathaniel Jeanson on DNA testing and Human History
Real Science Radio host Fred Williams interviews Dr. Nathaniel Jeanson on the emerging field of historical genetics. Dr. Jeanson holds a PhD in cell and developmental biology from Harvard University and also happens to be a young-earth creationist. He has a new book coming out titled ‘Traced, Human DNA’s Big Surprise’, which goes far beyond the DNA tests we take to find out about our ancestry. Unlike the standard commercial tests, his research instead relies on Y Chromosome data that provides a compelling look through the world’s entire human history since the beginning.  One of the bullet points at Amazon notes that his new book “represents one of the strongest arguments in print for the recent origin of humanity.” Tune in to find out fascinating details such as the origin of Native Americans, and the Achilles heel of the popularized DNA testing many have underdone. If you would like to be involved in Dr. Jeanson's Hidden History of Every People Project, please fill out the contact form here: answersingenesis.org/go/traced

  • The Astronomical Star of Bethlehem
    * Boulder, Colorado's Planetarium Show on Christ's Birth: For Christmas, we're enjoying this classic Real Science Radio broadcast about the University of Colorado's Fiske Planetarium presentation of a live program, The Astronomical Star of Bethlehem, by amateur astronomer Gil Buller. From the planetarium's website, "This exciting program examines the sky at the time of the birth of Christ to see which astronomical phenomenon may have been the Star of Bethlehem." * Orbital Mechanics Help Identify the Star of Bethlehem: Using computer-generated images of the night sky in ancient Israel, this planetarium program does in great style what Bob Enyart's DVD does using more modest computer simulation software. Click to get Bob's classic DVD, The Planets, Stars, and The Bible. * The Materialist's Star Problem: You may enjoy the bulleted list at our rsr.org/list-of-star-formation-problems broadcast show page. And whereas unbelievers say that young-earth creationists have a "starlight and time" problem, remember, materialists have: 1) a star problem 2) a light problem 3) a time problem, and 4) an everything problem.     Today’s Resource: We invite you to browse through our Science Department in our online store?
