Real Seekers

Atheist David Johnson from the Skeptics and Seekers Podcast, watched my Gary Habermas Celebration show along with fellow Atheist, Paulogia's response show. David wrote a Blog arguing that Christian apologists are wrong to employ Evidentialism because the Bible endorses a blind faith perspective. I begged to differ. And so we debated the issue- enjoy :)RSM Blog (with free scholarly sources) = https://realseekerministries.wordpress.com/2025/06/01/gary-habermas-resurrection-follow-up-the-case-for-biblical-evidentialism-w-atheist-david-johnson/

We've got the Resurrection receipt! Pro-Shroud expert, Russ Breault, joins me one on one to be interviewed on his unique take on the Shroud of Turin. He is much more interested in how to use the Shroud to present Christ in a unique and compelling way regardless of whether we can absolutely prove its authenticity. In his own words, "debating the details is for someone else. I see the Shroud as a tool given to the church as a kind of mantle passed to us as Elijah passed his cloak to Elisha. If we are called to be fishers of men, then I see the Shroud as the net".RSM Blog = https://realseekerministries.wordpress.com/2025/05/30/shroud-wars-the-shroud-as-the-receipt-of-resurrection-w-russ-breault/Russ' Main Shroud Encounter Website = https://shroudencounter.com/

SURPRISE!!! After the shock fades, tune in to listen to Pro-Shroud expert Giulio Fanti who has written yet another peer-reviewed paper going into technical details responding to and refuting various skeptics, but most importantly, he provides substantive counters to Hugh Farey's Blog post "How Was it Done?" on his Quem Quaeritis image forming hypothesis based on Giulio's original peer-reviewed paper analyzing Hugh's experimental results. This show was unexpected, but Giulio asked me to read his paper for the fans as there are important details revealed in this paper that you need to know. Don't worry, there will be a Part 16E which will be a debate/discussion format with Hugh himself involved, the details are being worked out next week hopefully!RSM Blog (with Giulio's peer-reviewed paper and other free scholarly sources) = https://realseekerministries.wordpress.com/2025/04/20/shroud-wars-panel-review-part-16-follow-up-shows-luigi-garlaschellis-powder-rubbing-hugh-fareys-quem-quaeritis-image-forming-theories/

Dan Porter is a well known Shroud skeptic online and is famous for his Shroud Story Blog posts. One of his Blogs entitled, "Shroud of Turin: Radiation as a Denial of God’s Omnipotence" caught my fancy as a philosopher and so I tackle and refute his objections to various Radiation theories pertaining to the Shroud.

Fan of the show, Harry Stark, recommended that I touch base and invite on Courtney Smith. She has an expertise in arguing for the truth of Jesus as the Jewish Messiah with Jewish counter-missionaries like Rabbi Tovia Singer!

We go over various theological, practical and Messianic prophecy objections from Jews as well as Courtney's own unique take on following the Torah as a Gentile believer in the New Testament today.

Alright all you Real Seekers, my guest had to cancel out this week due to illness and I couldn't find a replacement in time, so here is your RSM Update show.I cover future plans of the show, discuss whether Hugh Farey (the Ultimate Shroud skeptic) is a liar or not, announce a Shroud Wars full on debate (not Response show) on Hugh's image forming method & respond to an Eastern Orthodox suggestion that I read St. Hilarion.Enjoy :)

I was once accused by Jay Dyer and his Orthodox fans of appealing to the logical fallacy of appeal to majority/consensus based on an argument I gave regarding Protestantism and the Canon of Scripture.

Without realizing it, Orthodox apologist Tyler Fowler now admits I was right the whole time and Jay Dyer was just plain wrong and irrational!!!

In this third installment of Shroud Wars Panel Review Part 16, I'm joined by Chemist Brian Donley Worrell and STURP scientist Ken Stevenson (as well as Giulio Fanti via written statement) who respond to and refute Hugh Farey's Quem Quearitis image forming hypothesis and his recent response Blog to Giulio Fanti's peer-reviewed paper on his proposed medieval method.RSM Blog (with free scholarly level sources) = https://realseekerministries.wordpress.com/2025/04/20/shroud-wars-panel-review-part-16-follow-up-shows-luigi-garlaschellis-powder-rubbing-hugh-fareys-quem-quaeritis-image-forming-theories/
