July 16, 2024 Converting to Eastern Orthodoxy (Challenging John Newby of John 20:28 Apologetics)
Recent convert to the Orthodox religion is John Newby of John 20:28 Apologetics. Tyler Fowler invited David Russell and myself as Protestants to probe and challenge John on why he switched from Protestant to Orthodox. The conversation was unexpectedly cordial given the format proposed by Tyler and much more substantive than my convo with someone like Jay Dyer!

July 14, 2024 Oakwood Bible Study #2: How the Shroud Images Formed
This is Part 2 and this time we get a little bit technical as we cover the scientific evidence pertaining to various image-formation explanations for the Shroud of Turin. In the end, we know the images are not due to random chance, natural laws or regularities involving a decomposing corpse nor are they due to human artistic design in the medieval era; thus, the Shroud images must be due to miraculous divine design!!!

July 09, 2024 Shroud Wars: Panel Review (Part 12B)- Ordinary Natural Mechanisms (w/ Kelly Kearse)
Dr. Kelly Kearse saw my Panel Review Part 12 show with Hugh Farey and Bob Rucker and he wished to come on to do a one on one to represent his own position on the ordinary natural mechanisms like Maillard reaction + skin contact as a way of explaining the body images and humidity imprinting of the bloodstains. This will provide you with the perspective of a Shroud expert who actually advocates for one of these natural positions!

July 06, 2024 True or False- Christianity is True? (w/ Tyler Vela)
I encountered Tyler Vela in Capturing Christianity's live chat the other day and he claimed that Shroudies are akin to flat Earthers; them's fighting words Tyler lol!
I like Tyler and consider him an online friend, so I have invited him on the show to discuss my methodology with regard to assessing miracles in favour of Christianity (the historical evidence for the Rez, the Shroud, etc.) and if time discuss a couple of the evidences against Christianity. I then plan to demonstrate how Bayes Theorem (or the Bayes-ish method) can be used to put all the pieces together.

About Real Seekers

From the publisher's feed

I'm a person sincerely interested in seeking religious truth, for years I studied and did my best to seek out the truth about God's existence, the existence and nature of the afterlife and which religion might be true and/or endorsed by God. At the end of my searching, I came to the conclusion that Christianity is the religion that God wants me to follow and believe. I hope to help other "real seekers" in their journey to finding the same truth that I did.
